“Wow. What an amazing meal, probably one of the best in my life. We have followed Chef Britt for years on the cooking shows, so when my sons had a baseball game VS. Wood River, I knew this was the time to make a weekend out of it, and try Fiamma. Unbelievably glad we made that reservation. 9:00pm on a Saturday was perfect timing. Most the other tables were closing out, and it was quieting down in the dining room. (WHICH IS STUNNING.) Low lights, quiet music, and the staff who are all. so. amazing. We started with the famous meatballs and the focaccia. Okay. I might not ever stop thinking about the fennel honey butter that came with that bread, like. ever. I know it's weird but it might have been the best bite of the night! Meatballs, also 5 stars. You get three medium sized meatballs with the order. Perfect for splitting for the table. I ordered the Gramigna. It was my first time having this noodle and it was amazing. Lobster and corn butter? Get out of here. The other diner ordered the Tagliatelle. I was lucky to grab a bit of this boar and bison dish and it was almost * ;) * as good as mine. We finished our meal with dessert, of course. Wow. the cloud of blueberries and cream gelato was something dreams are made of. It had an oat crumble of some type, and hello finishing salt. *drool* From the front hostess, to our waitress (KK) to the manager and everyone we met in-between, our experience was flawless. The explanations of the restaurant, the food, the noodle room in the basement, I loved learning about everything KK was taking the time to tell us. We never felt rushed, our waters were always full, and KK took perfect care of us. I about fell off my chair when I saw Chef in the kitchen and we were lucky enough to snap a photo with her! A night I will never forget, and an experience I can't wait to have again. Cheers Fiamma keep on being amazing!”
“Words can’t describe how delicious the food was. Hands down the best pasta I’ve ever had! Steak was booked perfectly and top it off with a tiramisu! Not only the food, meeting Chief Britt was incredible. What a sweet person! Very grateful to her and her staff for such a wonderful experience! We will be back”
“Just celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary dinner at Fiamma in Sun Valley/Ketchum. We had cocktails and wine with dinner, appetizers, entrees and desserts. Seriously one of the best dining experience we’ve ever had. This was our second time and it didn’t disappoint. Nancy our waiter was wonderful and Brady their director of hospitality really made our anniversary extra special. It was fun to see Britt busy in the kitchen. Love this place and highly recommend it for any occasion. We’ll definitely be back for 46th. ❤️”
“This is the place everyone. This is the place you want to go, trust me. You might be looking at the prices and wondering if the food is worth what you’re going to pay. It is 100% worth it. The meatballs are the best you’ll ever have, completely unique. You cannot go here and not get the meatballs. The Focaccia and Tagliatelle(looks weird but very good) were also delicious, but maybe the best thing we had here was the Tiramisu. I don’t even really like Tiramisu in general but I was licking the plate, which is embarrassing at such a classy establishment. We had KK as our waitress and she did an amazing job! The service in general was great. They’re very attentive to making sure your cup stays full without being overbearing about it, and if you spill even just a little crumb on your table they are immediately there to wipe it up for you. In the end when I got the bill, I felt like I was getting a great deal for this experience. Will definitely be back! Maybe even tomorrow for more meatballs.”
“We dined at all the popular places around Sun Valley, and this was the only bad experience. The worst was probably when a waitress asked if she could combine two completely different dishes into one box…then seemed visibility displeased when we asked her to box the dishes separately. Not at all the quality of service expected with fine dining. Another waitstaff member never even offered a dessert menu. I saw them pick up the menus but seemed to forget to give the menus to us. The pastas were okay but both really spicy. The vodka sauce was described as spicy in the menu. The pesto was not. Even the mash potatoes had too much pepper. The focaccia with honey butter and fennel was also an odd combination that was very polarizing. If you like licorice with your bread, great. Otherwise, skip the bread and butter.”
