Garozzo's Overland Park

“Very traditional Italian restaurant. This is the kind of place that you take your time at dinner and don't rush the experience. We started off with bread for the table along with the stuffed artichoke. Had a real Ceasar salad (with anchovies) that I haven't had in a long time. The table had the lasagna, stuffed ravioli with chicken and a seafood pasta. We had made reservations online a few hours before and commented that we were also celebrating a birthday. Choose the custard with berries along with the Neapolitan ice cream. Perfect place for a special celebration or anniversary.”

“As we entered this restaurant it was obvious it is a classy joint - sight and sound - staff in white shirts and black slacks with Rat Pack music in the background. Amazing aromas of freshly made Italian food filled the air. Shortly thereafter my requested White Negroni and fresh baked bread with butter arrived. We ordered the Georgio Spiedini di Pollo and Italian green beans, both delicious and fresh tasting. For dessert we shared a well crafted Tiramisu and coffees. Delicate and yummy.”

“Arapp I think that’s how she spells her name was a very good waitress. Explained everything to us very well. 53 years old and first time ever eating here. I must say wow. Food was amazing. We will be back!”

“This is an excellent restaurant. It had high in quality food that people were dressed more casually, especially around the bar. The Chicken spiedini garozzo with the amogio was unique and incredible. Also very large portions. The unique oil and bread with Parmesan cheese in the beginning was excellent as were the salads. Marcus was our server and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back and I highly recommend it.”

“Garozzo’s is a KC tradition. I didn’t like what I ordered but others who I was with enjoyed their meals. There’s always a great vibe there and the ambience is great. Unfortunately, at times during our meal we had to wait an extended period of time for our server.”
