“My wife and I truly enjoyed the experience. This small but intimate place in the heart of historic Dublin is such a gem. The service was 5 star, our server made some great recommendations. The cocktails were well constructed and both the food and the plating were excellent. The sister location was also amazing. The wine and cocktail selection and the knowledge of the staff made for a truly amazing evening.”

“Had a lovely date night at Gene’s! We just moved to Columbus and were told that this spot was not to be missed. Couldn’t be more true! Excellent and well-priced wine list. We got the barolo and it was spectacular. Our server, John, was so warm and knowledgeable. We got several plates to split and loved each one. Atmosphere was so cozy and we loved all the unique antiques. Will definitely be returning.”

“Great experience. We had the Beef Tatski (very flavorful), half-dozen oysters (very clean and sweet, from Prince Edward Island). The Black Cod (very balanced and light), and the Roasted Plum Shortcake (perfectly amazing). You can't go wrong here. We loved the experience. Get the espresso martini if that's your cup of tea. It has a mix of orange, it's perfect. Ask John to make the perfect Old Fashioned, it's also just as beautiful.... Staff is amazing, responsive, and precise.”

“What a great new place! The food was very fresh and tastefully done. The menu had fabulous choices that are different from most Columbus restaurants. My wife had the prawns with veggies. I had the pork loin which was cooked perfectly and juicy. We shared the chicken liver mousse toast and the compressed melon with Speck, they were both spectacular! For dessert, we had the sweet corn custard, a good semisweet choice. We highly suggest this restaurant.”

“This place was recommended by a friend, and I will never go to a place they recommend again. First off, the place is very nice, but we were seated on the patio in some of the most uncomfortable seats I've ever sat in. If you're wearing a dress or shorts, do not sit outside. Our waiter was helpful and overall amazing. However, the moment we received our appetizers, we should have realized there was going to be a problem. The only seasoning on the lamb was salt. The meal was extremely bland. Then we got our mains. For a $66 steak served with a fancy-cut potato and sautéed diced onions, the only seasoning being flaky salt is unacceptable. I want my money back. The mushrooms were basically fried mushrooms sitting in a bath of boiled beans. (The waiter was nice enough to bring us hot sauce without us even asking.) The drinks were fine. If you like salt as your only seasoning and enjoy paying over $100 per person, then this is the place for you.”
