“Giulia consistently delivers extremely high quality pasta. You can legitimately feel the freshness of their pasta and they cook every dish to perfection. Perfect chew and bite, great seasoning, and very inventive dishes that are absolutely delicious. They are a little weaker on their non pasta entrees (duck was sub par) but can't give below 5 stars because how good everything else is. Service is authentic people, great negronis and solid wine selection. An Italian staple.”

“We finally had the opportunity to try Giulia through a walk-in after months of trying to secure a booking online (the secret is to arrive as soon as the restaurant opens). Easy to say that the experience was worth the wait! There are only a few restaurants around Boston that offer such high-quality cooking. The appetizers and pasta dishes are flavorful, and the gelatos were a great surprise. We had the semolina cakes for starters, a tasty way to start the meal, mixing textures between crispy prosciutto and soft flour, as well as the erbazzone, which is more classic. For the main, we went with their infamous wild-boar pappardelle, which is very flavorful and pairs well with a red wine, and the pasta of the day, which had quail, allium, and white wine. For dessert, we tried both the roasted strawberry semifreddo and the pistachio gelato. At first, doubtful about how great pistachio gelato could be, I was not disappointed; it was one of the best parts of the meal. An absolute must-go in Cambridge, provided you can book it!”

“We had a fabulous meal with incredible service! The oysters had so much flavor. The crudo was fresh and light. Definitely recommend the house famous boar pappardelle. Pistachio gelato and cheesecake were the cherry on top of the evening.”

“Hard to get a reservation but it looks like they do walk ins if you come early and wait in line before opening. We booked two weeks ahead of time. The pasta dishes were great. For appetizers we got the semolina cakes and erbazzone - both were excellent. I loved the richness of the sauce on the wild boar pappardelle. The seafood spaghetti pasta special was good too. The fig gelato was good and portion size was good for two people. The rest of the dishes were small on the portion size.”
