“Amazing food😍 My friend and I came here for a late lunch, and it didn’t disappoint. Whole Peking duck, beef dumpling, seabass Honey, ibérico pork, jasmine rice, all of them were delicious 🤤. In the end we had to take food home because it was too much. The staff were really nice and professional, a huge thank you to Azeez for taking care of us. I do recommend the cocktails as well, they were great! Can't wait to come back.”
“I had a fantastic team dinner at Hakkasan Mayfair. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The atmosphere was stylish yet relaxed, making it the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy time with colleagues. The service was attentive throughout the evening, and every dish we tried was excellent. A great experience all round, highly recommended for a special meal or team celebration.”
“Such a fantastic Chinese restaurant! We loved the food, atmosphere and service! The colorful dumplings were like a painting! The place has a dramatic darkness that is captivating! A must go if you visit London. Affordable prices with set menus during specific time slots too.”
“We booked this place to celebrate my sister’s promotion. The staff at the front desk were friendly and welcoming, which got the evening off to a good start. We were initially seated quite close to the kitchen, so there was a lot of cooking noise and strong food smells. When we asked if it would be possible to move, the staff were very accommodating and found us another table. Our waiter was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the meal. Having visited this restaurant in China before, we had a fair idea of what to expect. The duck salad was excellent and easily the standout dish of the evening. The noodles were alright, but the fried prawns and spring rolls were disappointing. They had a strange taste, felt quite heavy, and weren’t particularly enjoyable. We had also requested a dessert with a congratulatory message for my sister’s promotion. Unfortunately, this note was missed. To be fair, the staff tried to make up for it, but they forgot to include her name on the dessert, which took away from the occasion a bit. We also ordered the signature dessert, which seemed very popular as nearly every table had one. But, it was below average in our opinion. It tasted a bit like Kinder chocolate and didn’t really live up to the hype. The staff were pleasant and did their best to accommodate us, but the food and attention to detail fell short of our expectations for a special celebration. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’d be back.”
“I have to be honest here. I didn’t enjoy my experience this time. The food looked good but there was no ‘wow’ to make me feel that what I was eating was special. This was a birthday lunch for my sister who was really excited about going. She loved her prawn starter but needed lots of chilli oil for her main. The staff were attentive but I just felt that the food was bland. I just couldn’t get my head around the fact that 4 spring rolls were served dry, with no dipping sauces. The edamame on the side was nice but again, dry. I expected a higher standard of taste experience. Presentation was great but I’m sorry, it wasn’t enough.”
