Handwritten’s compelling winemaking story is about crafting evocative Napa Valley District Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from the best hillside and mountain vineyards situated across the many unique terroirs. Founded in 2009 with a passion for crafting our small-lot wines, Handwritten’s story continues as we write our next chapter here in Napa Valley. Situated in the quaint wine country town of Yountville, the Handwritten tasting room is the ultimate place to enjoy a side-by-side comparative tasting of our Napa Valley District wines and a host of other elevated experiences.

“AMY! Amy! AMY! Came up over Thanksgiving weekend as a group of four and had the most amazing, genuine, educational, fun time! It started and ended with AMY. If you like fun facts she’s the person you want to have introduce to the spectacular wines at Handwritten. We experienced so many wines and left with several bottles and a membership! We came as guests of a long time member and already I’m telling all my friends. What’s unique about this tasting room is its size. It’s small and intimate which allows for individualized attention. At the same time it’s bright, airy and so inviting. We sat in the main salon along a half moon shaped table. We enjoyed each wine with the Oakville Can being the highlight. Can’t wait to enjoy this bottle soon. Appreciated AMY gently reminding us to hydrate as we enjoyed. ( ask her why, it’s something I never knew!) Will be back- very soon!”
“I’ve been a member at Handwritten for a couple years now and their service has only gotten better since our first visit. Not only are their wines delicious but the team is always so welcoming and informative whenever we visit. The ambiance here is luxurious, comfortable and inviting. Mary Kate, Vi, Amy and Evan have been the same wine ambassadors since I’ve joined and they’re all so knowledgeable and we always have a great time chit chatting. Def recommend and their sister winery Jessup Cellars down the street is a different vibe but their wines are just as yummy.”
