“An Absolute Winner (With One Exception) I had a wonderful dining experience at Bistro Jeanty. The atmosphere is charming, the service is warm, and almost everything we ordered absolutely shone. The highlights of our meal were fantastic: The Tomato Soup (*Crème de Tomate en Croûte*)This dish is an absolute winner. Honestly, we aren't even usually fans of tomato soup, but this puff-pastry-topped version completely blew us away. It is a must-order! Beef Bourguignon: Rich, deeply flavorful, and perfectly tender. Salade Maraîchère & Moules à la Normande: The salad was incredibly fresh and crisp, and the mussels cooked in the Normandy style (with that delicious cider and cream base) were excellent. The only downside to the evening was the Coq au Vin. Unfortunately, it just didn't hit the mark for me and fell flat compared to how spectacular the rest of the meal was. That being said, the soup, the mussels, the salad, and the beef bourguignon are so good that they easily eclipsed the one miss. I would highly recommend Bistro Jeanty for an authentic French bistro experience!”

Here’s what we ordered: * oxtail cottage pie - good and hearty * veal sweetbreads - loved this * bone marrow with escargots - cannot go wrong with this combo * crepes Suzette - delicious Definitely recommend!”

“The Blanquette de Lapin (rabbit) was excellent, the meat was incredibly tender and flavorful. The Poularde aux Morilles (chicken) had a bit of an issue with the first portion being a little dry, but our server, Kate, was fantastic and immediately took it back to have it remade. The second one came out perfectly tender and delicious. Huge thanks to her for the great service! The portions are very generous, the presentations are beautiful, and overall the value is excellent for the quality of the food and the classic French bistro atmosphere.”

“I had the famous soup at the insistence of my server. It is interesting being covered with a puff pastry, but the soup itself was somewhat thin and didn’t meet my expectations of what I was told was a “must have” item. My server was amazing with impeccable attention. She also suggested a nice Sancerre which was lovely.”
