“You Gotta Check out the Hideaway.....The Hideaway Brew Garden is a hidden gem in Hoffman Estates. It is a large outdoor area with a built-in bar, bathrooms, stage for live music and various public or private seating options. They offer a great selection of adult beverages and a good selection of restaurant quality food. One of the best things about the Hideaway is that it is child and dog friendly so you can bring the whole family to see a show. Getting to the Hideaway can be a little confusing if it is your first time going without someone who has already been there. My advice is to set your GPS to take you to the Tate & Lyle offices at 5450 Prairie Stone Pkwy, Hoffman Estates since this will bring you to where you can park for free and find the walking path that takes you to the Hideaway. Once you park in the Tate & Lyle parking lot, there is a pathway on the right side of building that goes over a bridge to the Hideaway Brew Garden. The Hideaway opens at 6:00 pm and we got there early enough that we were able to get one of the table benches that seat 8 people close to the stage. They offer several options if you want to rent a private space for your party including small "huts", themed trailers and some large closed off areas. This is an open air venue with a the area closest to the stage where the ground is covered by wood chips then there is the lawn area where you can bring your own blanket and chairs. There are paved pathways and a permanent structure with the bar and restrooms. They also have some porta-potties if the regular bathrooms get to crowded. For those who smoke, they do allow smoking just outside the main area. We had a great time watching the band and enjoyed the food and drink. It was really nice having our 17 year-olds join us at the show.”
“My family and I recently visited Hideaway Brew Garden for a Taylor Swift Dance Party, we rented the 2D camper which was right next to the DJ and it did not disappoint! The DJ played all the best hits, he had the crowd on their feet all night! The food was amazing with plenty of options to choose from the menu. We also got the Sears Tower beer tower for our group which lasted all night, definitely a must! You can also make it into a cocktail tower, they have other fun towers like the dynamite as well. Our waiters were very attentive throughout the whole night(sorry I forgot their names), we had such a great time, it’s definitely a must this summer! & it’s kid & pet friendly! ☺️”
“It was my first time visiting the brew garden. It is well set up. I loved it and Hello Weekend playing. The taco booth WAS a TOTAL rip-off! $8 FOR ONE STREAK TACO. They should have said that 2 tacos are$12. Beer high but free entertainment. A great place to visit!”
“We came here for the annual Platzkonzert Germanfest on Saturday, September 6, 2025. A lot of fun and cool activities for the whole family. It had good German food, good drinks, and trailers set up for Friends and The Office, etc. Live music going all night. Overall it was just a great night of eating, drinking and being with family. 5/5! (Written 9-14-25)”
“Positive: Cool vibe and well maintained grounds Why I probably won't be back: $26 for two drinks before tip and separate line for mixed drinks. Won't serve more tthan two drinks per person at a time so if you are trying to order for.the table, bring a friend or make two trips. Appetizer sampler had 1 cheese curd and once again pricing was way out of line for quality. Over $100 for 6 drinks for the table and a small elote cup prices me out of the experience.”
