“We had reservation so got a table as soon as we arrived. The menu was diverse and perfect for us app, from sweet pancakes, to the standard bacon and eggs, to the “health nut” options I love! The staff was tentative and friendly, bathrooms were clean, and an overall welcoming environment. Great coffee to boot!”

“We were staying at a nearby hotel so we chose Hope Breakfast Bar simply for its location. We visited on a BEAUTIFUL warm Saturday morning in October so we chose to sit outside on the patio. We did notice that when we went inside to be seated the music was quit loud for our liking, so this was another reason we chose to sit outside. We were seated immediately and our server was attentive in getting us water and keeping it filled. There are so many choices on the menu, both sweet and savory, but my partner chose the stuffed poblano and I opted for the chili crunch bowl. Our food came out fast and was very appetizing to look at. The stuffed pepper was good but that chili crunch bowl is a dish I will be thinking about for a long time. The dish was incredibly well-balanced and even though it was a lot of food, I enjoyed every last bite. I’ve never thought about pairing pickled vegetables with fluffy scrambled eggs, and jasmine rice for breakfast, but it all perfectly delighted my tastebuds. And the spice of the chili crunch perfectly rounded out the dish. If we are ever in the area again, Hope will be on our list to visit!”

“Stopped in with a pretty big group and the service handled it very well for a Saturday at noon. This place definitely specializes with coffee and had a pretty awesome selection, although pretty comically expensive. The prices were the only reason I gave this place a 4/5 because I found the food to be pretty solid especially the breakfast sandwhich and loaded hashbrowns. The side salad was excellent too definitely above average. But the portions (except for the breakfast sandwich) were all on the smaller side and I have a hard time justifying prices this high for breakfast. Not atypical for north loop though so I doubt anyone would be too surprised. Overall a really nice spot but nothing special.”

“Great experience overall. The server was fabulous and made us feel very welcome. The ambiance was fun and inviting. I especially appreciated that they offer baby portions, which was a nice touch. The food was okay and a little too sweet for my taste, but not bad at all, and I still finished every bite.”
