“Had an amazing experience trying the Rajasthani Royal Thali 2.0 at Jashn. Even the staff is welcoming especially Nikki, She was there to attend us. Every dish was packed with authentic flavors and beautifully presented. The thali started with crispy papad and featured delicious specialties like Gatte Ki Sabzi, Jodhpuri Laal Paneer, Mirch Bada, and other traditional Rajasthani delicacies. I Highly Recommend this thali to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Rajasthani cuisine in the Seattle area.”
“Dining at Jashn was a pleasant experience overall. The Paneer Lababdaar was flavorful, tasty Daal Makhani and the appetizers, lotus stem and Afghani soya chaap were especially enjoyable. The spicy guava drink was refreshing, and the presentation of the drinks was impressive. The onion and chili naan tasted average and could be improved. The complimentary starter of fried chips was a bit underwhelming, and it would be nice to see a better alternative. Also, the curry is not served with complimentary rice. The finger bowl served at the end was a thoughtful touch and one of the best parts of the experience.”
“We visited this restaurant for Valentine’s Day dinner with my husband and our 2.5-year-old. We were seated at a large corner table in the very back (likely meant for bigger parties). At first I felt disappointed because there was live music for the Valentine’s special and we couldn’t see it from our table. However, I later realized it actually worked out well. We could still hear the music while avoiding the crowd and noise near the stage, and we were able to comfortably have conversations. The food was delicious overall and really stood out. We started with Pyaar Ka Tofa (strawberry appetizer), which I was skeptical about, but it turned out to be surprisingly good and unique. The Valentine’s special stuffed paneer appetizer was excellent — they should absolutely add it to their regular menu. For drinks, we tried the Mango Aamsutra and Spicy Chilli Guava. The mango was okay but a bit too sweet for my taste. The guava drink, however, was amazing with a strong chili kick — highly recommend. For entrées, we ordered Lasooni Palak Burrata, Kathal Champaran, rumali roti, and naan. Everything was fantastic. The Champaran may not taste exactly like traditional Champaran style, but it was still very flavorful and enjoyable. The Lasooni Palak Burrata was out of this world — a must-order. The rumali roti was soft and fresh. Unfortunately, dessert was the low point of the evening. The Valentine’s special chocolate cake was the worst chocolate cake we’ve had — extremely hard and difficult to even cut with a spoon. We informed our server, who offered to take it back, but we were already full and declined. Overall, the food and ambience were wonderful and made for a lovely evening. One area for improvement: when we received the check, the server stood very close and watched while we selected the tip, which felt awkward and uncomfortable. I hope they can improve this part of the experience so guests can complete payment more privately. Despite that, we had a great time and would return for the food and atmosphere.”
“Had a wonderful experience at Jashn! The ambiance is warm, elegant, and perfect for both family dinners and special occasions. The staff is extremely courteous, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout the visit. The food was outstanding—rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Every dish we tried was delicious and well-balanced, truly reflecting authentic taste and care in preparation. Overall, Jashn offers an excellent combination of great service, inviting ambiance, and amazing food. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be coming back!”
“Jashn has a really nice ambiance and a great vibe, making it worth a one-time visit, but the food and drinks were a mixed bag—especially given the premium prices. Drinks & Appetizers: I started with the Jaan Paan Twist cocktail. While the presentation was impressive, the taste was highly disappointing; it was so diluted that I couldn't taste the alcohol or the paan flavor. We also had the beetroot kebabs. They came out very quickly and tasted good, but unfortunately, they were served almost cold instead of hot. Main Course: The Malai Kofta was decent—the kofta was tender and the gravy was nice and thick. However, the Mutton Champaran was a letdown, as the pieces were mostly large bones with very little actual meat to eat. For bread, the garlic naan and regular roti were perfectly crispy just the way I like them, but the Khamiri roti missed the mark entirely and wasn't even close to what authentic khamiri roti should be. Overall: You are largely paying for the ambiance and presentation here. It's an okay spot to check out once, but the food and drink execution could be better for the price.”
