“Hidden gem right next to the London Eye—I can’t believe this amazing okonomiyaki spot exists so close to Waterloo. JEUX JEUX Okonomiyaki is seriously easy to miss, but absolutely worth seeking out. The eel okonomiyaki was insanely good—crispy outside, tender inside, rich sauce, and topped with a runny egg over noodles and cabbage. The wagyu version basically melts in your mouth, perfectly balanced sweet-savoury, and the chicken & prawn combo was also spot on. Sides and desserts were a surprise highlight too, especially the egg “custard-like” dish and refreshing Japanese tea ice cream.”

“Great little spot for okonomiyaki in Waterloo. The portions are bigger than expected and there are lots of flavours to choose from, including chicken, beef, prawn, pork and eel. The okonomiyaki was rich, comforting and full of ingredients. I especially liked watching it being cooked on the hot plate. The fried oysters were crispy and fresh, and the cheese tamagoyaki was soft and cheesy. Nice casual place for a relaxed meal.”

We had the eel one and it came with a generous piece of eel on top. The sauce, cheese and runny egg worked really well together. “Amazing okonomiyaki near the London Eye! The grilled eel special was incredible — thick, flavorful eel with a perfectly soft and fluffy okonomiyaki. The dashimaki egg was super creamy and literally melted in my mouth. Loved sitting at the counter watching everything being cooked fresh on the teppan. Great atmosphere, delicious food, and very reasonable prices. Will definitely come back!”
