Welcome to JuJu Cafe, a vibrant hub where the exhilarating world of board games meets the rich and flavorful journey of Asian cuisine. Nestled in the heart of Downtown Toronto, our café is a sanctuary for both game enthusiasts and food lovers alike, offering an unforgettable experience where fun, delicious food, and community come together.
“The area is very clean and spacious. There are four walls of games with assortment of harder games and simpler games. It's only $5 to sit and play for two hours. Coming in the middle afternoon on a weekday there was literally nobody else here - which I can't understand why becauee the business is very clean and has nice AC, good food and great games. The people who work here are also nice. It's located on top of another building so the entrance is not super obvious until you're staring right at the door. I'd recommend if you're in old Toronto for sure. They have large party games and games for two - plus what lies between.”
“This was my first time here and I came specifically for the Grilled Lemongrass Chicken Vietnamese Bento by Nom Nom for $10. It was very delicious and looked really beautiful. I loved the colours and presentation so much! The grilled chicken was tender and juicy and all the veggies and rice were delicious. I felt like a had a really balanced, healthy meal. I could eat like this every day! My server was friendly and gave fast service. The place was surprisingly empty for 12 noon lunch time on a Wednesday. It’s a beautiful, large space mainly for playing board games. And you have to go upstairs to second floor and then to the back area to order. My only complaint was the bento deals are for takeout only. But I’m coming back for sure!”
“Juju Café at Dundas St.West..is a great spot to spend quality time with friends during the winter. You can catch up over a board game for just five dollars per person for a two-hour session. It’s a nice café that serves latte, desserts, ice cream, and a few vegetarian meal options—which is great to have. We had an amazing time! Just 4 girls who don’t know any games, but we still had so much fun. The place is clean, the ambience is awesome, and it has a cool, vibrant vibe. We were four girls, and we had a blast. during Winters it’s a great spot to meet, greet and hang out. We got a cake from outside and we had it cut for extra charge with their permission.”
“This is a hidden gem of Toronto!!! I’m actually so surprise with the quality and variety of food options that pair with very good atmosphere and entertainment. Honestly a perfect spot for group of friends to hangout laughs play some games and eat really good and mind I add extremely reasonable priced food. Tho I have to say there are limited numbers of board games options as other comment have mentioned, it is still a good opportunity to learn some new games in such an intimate environment. We saw some students using the space to study and the truth is, absolutely great place to study/work also if you love the background noise or you come weekdays that there are not as much of traffic. The staff are super nice and they make sure to provide incentives such as spin the wheel to get you visit again. We won free meals for next visit so we definitely will come back again! 10/10 highly recommended to couple, friends or meet-up groups to use this awesome space to social! Lowkey glad it’s hidden because similar businesses have becoming way too crowded, this is still a very good place for weekday night fun!”
“So many great and affordable food options. I ordered the Grilled Pork & Chicken Tray with Vermicelli ( Bún met ) and it was delicious. There was a 2-hour game promo for $5. I just wish they had a greater variety of games, especially for 2 players.”
