“Exceptional. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly, recommending wine and beer to pair with our meal. My fiancé had their prix-fixe menu, which is worth the price, and I had the beef tartare dish — a generous portion. Love everything about this place.”
“Amazing food and amazing service. The côte de bœuf with the peppercorn sauce was delicious. One of the best steak tartares in Toronto that we’ve sampled. Delicious cocktails as well!”
“Had dinner reservations here at 7:30pm last night. Ordered the Prix Fixe For Two. The starter Spicy Shrimps was below average - it didn’t have much to offer in terms of flavor. Wouldn’t order again. However, the Cotes de Boeuf steak frites was exceptional. For dessert, the Crème Brulee was delicious but felt like it needed more vanilla flavoring. The Crepe au Chocolat was ok. Overall - the dining experience and service was excellent.”
“Come on Tuesdays!!!! Ordered the French onion soup, bread and butter and the 24 oz steak for 2. Soup was too light not much flavour. Bread and butter was average. The 24oz steak came with fries and a salad. Beautifully plated! Taste was decent -nothing mind blowing, the cook was a nice medium. I do believe that this could be made at home. Was expecting a lot more in terms of flavour given the hype. HOWEVER I think this is really great value for $60 but wouldn’t pay outside of their Tuesday special. I recommend!”
“Absolutely delicious and definitely worth a visit. The côte de boeuf is a must—especially on Tuesdays when they offer half-off steaks. It’s perfectly cooked, flavorful, and easily the star of the meal. The bone marrow appetizer was tasty, but very small for the price, which made it feel a bit underwhelming. Taking off a star for a couple of misses on my last visit. The fries weren’t as crispy as usual, and there was some confusion with my friend’s drink order—the cortado was made incorrectly, and the replacement americano still didn’t quite hit the mark. Also, they used to have individual tarts with an amazing crust, which I loved. They’ve since switched to tart slices with a different crust. Still good, just not quite the same.”
