“I received a gift card for Julienne about twenty years ago and decided today is the perfect day to use it. Their system wasn't able to process the old card but they gave me the discount anyway. Thumbs up to Santo and Bella for honoring the old card. I ordered the Spinach Crusted Quiche du Jour - which geatured mushrooms and chicken - Fantastic!!! The tiny Rosemary Roasted Potatoes were a perfect accompaniment. They have an espresso bar and cafe featuring Jones coffee - a fantastic local roster. Finally , their pastries are incredible. I had an Lemon Creme Brulee Scone and it was amazing. The atmosphere is quiet and elegant but I didn't feel out of place in my T-shirt and Jeans. They have a cute gift shop that featured Easter candy and decorations - I dined there about ten days before Easter Sunday. Julienne is located in the Mission Street shopping area in San Marino, making it a great place to stop while browsing the shops. I enjoyed a wonderful meal and terrific service. I won't wait twenty years to return, and next time I'll bring a friend.”

The food is always delicious and beautifully prepared, and the atmosphere is so cozy and charming that it feels like a home away from home. “This is an adorable little spot off the beaten path on a cute little tree lined street in San Marino. The cafe side serves coffee, tea and breakfast and lunch items and the other side is a small specialty market with premade sandwiches, salads and other goodies. My husband had the chilaquiles and really enjoyed them. I had a simple currant scone and a Vanilla Earl Gray Latte and they were both delicious. I was also able to buy a four pack of the scones from the market side to bring home. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially on the market side. I would definitely pop in again for a coffee and warm scone.The prices are a bit high but not out of line especially for the area. Street parking was available in front of the cafe and across the street.”
“This restaurant used to have tablecloths on both the indoor and outdoor tables, which made the dining experience feel so comfortable and elegant. Unfortunately, now there are no tablecloths at all. The atmosphere just isn't the same anymore.”
