“We went to Juniper on a Friday night to celebrate our 15th anniversary, and honestly, it couldn’t have been a better choice. From the second we walked in, everyone made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. Mickey, our server, was fantastic. Super friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and just made the whole night run smoothly. She made excellent recommendations and really made the evening more special. We started with the focaccia and chicken pot pie croquettes, and both were amazing. They even surprised us with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine for our anniversary, which was such a thoughtful touch. For dinner, we had the T-bone special with brussels sprouts and potatoes au gratin, and everything was absolute perfection. Seriously one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Dessert was just as good. They brought out these little lemon cake bites that were so light and delicious, plus we ordered a warm peanut butter chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream that was absolutely incredible. All around, this was easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. Great food, amazing service, and they really made our anniversary feel special. We can't wait to visit again!”
“Juniper — A Perfect Anniversary Experience Tonight was our third anniversary, and Juniper made it absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we walked through the door, we were celebrated. The warmth of this place is genuine — from the family photos that give the restaurant such a personal, soulful character, to the thoughtful touches woven into every detail of the evening. This is southern hospitality elevated to an art form, and it never once felt performative. It felt like people who truly love what they do. Our server Miki was extraordinary. She read the room perfectly, understood exactly what kind of night we were hoping for, and delivered without us ever having to ask. She’s the kind of server who makes you feel like the whole restaurant exists just for you — and on an anniversary, that means everything. Now, the food. We ordered the spiced duck, the spring fricassee, and the steak frites — and every single plate was remarkable. The kind of cooking that makes you pause mid-bite and just appreciate where you are. This is obtainable fine dining with a genuine southern soul, and it more than holds its own against anything I’ve experienced in my travels. I felt such real pride knowing we have something this special right here at home. To close the evening, we were presented with the most beautiful Madelines alongside a special memento commemorating the night — a detail so thoughtful and intentional it brought tears to my eyes. And the coconut cake. Please get the coconut cake. If you haven’t been to Juniper yet, don’t wait. And if you’re celebrating something that matters — an anniversary, a milestone, a moment you want to hold onto — there is nowhere I’d recommend more. Thank you to Miki and the entire staff for giving us a night we’ll remember for the rest of our lives.”
“We went to Juniper tonight! It's something we rarely get to do and we love it so so much! We had cocktails and mock tails. I had the boy orange and the slow blink, and my wife had the thing two. We started with the focaccia bread. My wife had the cheese plate with walnut cranberry bread, a combined goat, milk, and cow cheese and peach, chutney and caramelized, cumin pecan it was amazing. Next came the French onion soup, which was some of the best I've ever had and my wife had the beat and goat cheese salad with pistachio and mandarin orange. I had the sea scallops with mushroom risotto and fried leeks, and next the duck with a smoked lentil and mixed root vegetable balsamic glaze and carrot purée. Mashed potatoes were the best we’ve ever and they poached a lobster tail in butter and put it on top. It was phenomenal! Possibly one of the greatest things I've ever eaten for dessert. The strawberry cheesecake sundae and the blood orange sorbet. It was absolutely a dream.”
“Absolutely everything was awesome. Great menu. Our group had the Ribeye, Pan seared Scallops, Charred Duroc Pork tenderloin, Scalloped potatoes, Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Sautéed Mushrooms with leeks, Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans.”
“Our waiter, Corey, was amazing! He was very knowledgeable about the menu and had perfect timing when checking on us. He even said that if you don’t like something, try it here, you’ll change your mind, and I completely agree. I typically don’t like tomatoes or mushrooms, but both dishes were incredible. We’ve already recommended this place to others and can’t wait to come back as soon as possible.”
