Keystone Stables Wagon Rides

“Wonderful experience! Sleigh ride was a wagon ride due to limited snow, but the host of the ride was excellent and informative, telling us all about his horses, the area and his farm. Upon arriving at the cabin we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Excellent warmed biscuits were on our table, accompanied by a beef & barley soup (could have been warmer). Our steak dinners and accompanying sides were cooked perfectly and tastes excellent, as were the cocktails (in particular the Lizzie‘s mule). The apple pie should be warmed in my opinion….. ours were very cold, served on a cold skillet) The real highlight of the evening, however, was the cowboy musician who went table to table accepting requests and interacting with guests. We loved the experience!”

“We did the early sleigh ride dinner. It wasn’t quite snowy enough for a sleigh so we took a wagon instead and it was still very beautiful and fun. Definitely go during earlier hours in order to see the beautiful mountains. The dinner was delicious and they provided to-go boxes as well. The bathrooms are in a separate building a short walk from the dinner cabin and they are both heated very well. Our guitarist was very entertaining, she played a lot of fun songs and encouraged us to sing too. All of the food is cooked very well, I got the salmon and my boyfriend got the chicken. The staff was very friendly and checked on us often. We loved it!”

“Wonderful experience for individuals and groups. The ride is wonderful and the horses are so cute. Great information about the surrounding areas and the food is absolutely exceptional. I had chicken and man was that chicken tender. By far the number one ranked for the best chicken I ever had. I just also have to mention that the rest of the meal ties in fabulously with the chicken. The vegetables were just right and I must say cooked to 👌 perfection. I recommend to everyone.”

“We did the summer dinner wagon ride and it was an amazing & family friendly experience! The wagon ride was very scenic and remote. The dinner was wonderful and the guides were friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to stick around the site after dinner for games, a campfire and singing. Would highly recommend during summer visits to keystone!”

“Such a very special and unique experience. The wranglers, horses, setting, food, and staff are all excellent. The beef barley soup and apple pie with ice cream put the dinner over the top. Something to do with each visit to Keystone.”
