“Tres tres cool & tres tres delicious! Excellent elevated French technique, flavors that reflect Chef Phillips’s years at the helm of Michelin rated restaurants in Hong Kong. The foie gras crème brûlée is to DIE for. My new favorite neighborhood hang for solo dining and people watching at the bar with Otto!”
“Fantastic spot in NYC. The food is creative, flavorful, and beautifully done without feeling overcomplicated. Every dish had real attention to detail, and you can tell there is serious talent behind the kitchen. The vibe is exactly what you want for a night out — stylish, warm, intimate, and still relaxed. Great for a date night, dinner with friends, or bringing someone who appreciates good food. Service was welcoming and attentive, and the whole experience felt personal from start to finish. This is the kind of place we love finding before everyone else catches on. Definitely worth checking out.”
“I had a great experience at this French bistro. From the moment we sat down, everything felt warm, welcoming, and beautifully done. The food was outstanding — tender, flavorful, fresh, and cooked perfectly. Every dish we tried had great balance and attention to detail, from the appetizers to the main dishes. You can really feel the quality in the ingredients and the care behind the cooking. One of the best parts of the evening was that the chef personally came out to speak with us and explain some of the dishes. That made the experience feel special and personal, and it showed how much passion goes into the restaurant. The atmosphere was elegant but comfortable, the service was great, and the entire meal felt like a real dining experience — not just dinner. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing French food, great hospitality, and a memorable night out. I will definitely be coming back.”
“Le Sixth high-quality yet great value and I’d recommend for any occasion. We left already planning our return. Because the restaurant is new and the Chef-owner spent time at our table introducing the dishes which made it that much more fun and entertaining for our family dinner of 4, we wanted to write a review to introduce others to the remarkable team at Le Sixth. From the start, what stood out was the remarkable quality of the food relative to the price. Every dish felt thoughtfully composed and executed at a level you’d expect from a far more expensive restaurant. The veal mini sliders were the favorite of our teens and they ordered another round (delivered to the table by the Chef-Owner). What truly elevated the experience, though, was the sauces - wow! Whether it was the salads, the steak, or the salmon, each dish was transformed by sauces that were layered, balanced, and clearly made in-house. They didn’t just complement the food—they defined it. Dessert was just as memorable. A menu featuring homemade sorbet, a beautifully done trio of crème brûlée. A small but well-curated wine selection made for a perfect meal. Nothing felt excessive; everything felt intentional and refined.”
“I got to try Le Sixth during their soft opening. The chef is immensely talented. The menu contains flawlessly executed French bistro favorites like steak tartare. Even more interesting are his modern takes on classics, think foie gras creme brûlée and spicy tuna cones. Other standout dishes: bone marrow, lobster, and duck! Definitely leave room for dessert, especially the chocolate mouse.”
