Established in 1995, Lokoya is a collection of four distinct Cabernet Sauvignons from four of Napa Valley’s most celebrated mountain appellations: Mount Veeder, Howell Mountain, Spring Mountain District, and Diamond Mountain District. These limited-production wines are 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, fermented with native yeast, and bottled unfined and unfiltered, resulting in the purest expression of place. The Lokoya Estate is nestled atop Spring Mountain, 2,100 feet above the valley floor, and boasts stunning views of the Napa Valley. Upon arrival, our guests are led through an unforgettable tasting experience from one of our knowledgeable and dedicated estate hosts. All visitors must be at least 21 years of age. Animals are not permitted in any of our indoor or outdoor tasting spaces, except for service animals with credentials.
“If Napa had a private members-only club for Cabernet Sauvignon, Lokoya would be it. The wines? Absolutely stunning — rich, structured, and unapologetically confident. The price? Let’s just say you’ll be contemplating whether to finance your next bottle. $600+ per cab, but worth it if you like your wine with equal parts power and pedigree. The views? Unreal. You’re perched above the valley with panoramic vistas that make you forget how much you’re spending. It’s the kind of place where you sip slowly, not just to savor the flavor, but to make the experience last longer per dollar. These aren’t “entry wines.” They’re the PhDs of Napa reds — high acid, serious age potential, and very few will ever grace a grocery store shelf. Every pour feels like a masterclass in patience, oak, and aspiration. Come for the scenery, stay for the cabernet… and maybe start a savings account for your next visit.”
“Lokoya is one of our favorite wineries. This is big bold Cabernets ! The tasting room is wonderful. The views are amazing. The hosts are always fantastic. Here, you can’t go wrong with any of their mountain Cabernets, but we especially like this spring Mountain or Veeder. Once they let you in and you drive up you’ll be parking close by and be greeted by your host. You’ll a splash of their white wine and you’ll get escorted into the wine tasting room where you’ll find a tasting menu with your name on it. Release party’s are awesome here. It is a very comfortable and very classy experience. The wine sells itself. You can also taste Lokoya at Cardinale. Big wine with great structure.”
“Lokoya Winery offers a truly exceptional wine-tasting experience. Nestled high in the Mayacamas Mountains, the views are absolutely breathtaking. Overlooking the Napa Valley, the panoramic scenery creates a serene and picturesque backdrop that enhances every moment of the tasting. The wines themselves are nothing short of spectacular. Lokoya’s single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons are masterfully crafted, showcasing depth, complexity, and elegance. Each pour tells a story of the unique terroirs they come from. The tasting experience is intimate and personalized, with knowledgeable hosts who share the winery’s history and winemaking philosophy with genuine passion. If you’re looking for an unforgettable wine-tasting experience paired with stunning views, Lokoya Winery is a must-visit. It’s the perfect blend of world-class wines and unparalleled natural beauty. Highly recommended!”
“This is a stunning winery way up a winding road in Spring Mountain and extremely exclusive. You need a gate code to enter and upon arrival it's jaw dropping beautiful with expansive views of the valley below. The wines are another level. We had an unforgettable tasting with Johnna and the food pairing that went with it was impeccably curated and delicious. All the wines were exceptional. We had a hard time picking a favorite! Their wines are all highly allocated from single vineyard prized mountaintop appellations. We bought some wine to lay down for years to come and can't wait to open them and relive our Lokoya experience. We are already looking forward to our next visit here at this hidden paradise in Napa. Thank you again for a truly memorable experience.”
“We visited Loyoya winery and had a great time hosted by Anne, she made it entertaining and fun. The property is modern with stunning views. We enjoyed this visit a lot. The problem began when 2 days later, in the middle of our trip to California, I got tracking information but we were driving to Yosemite National Park to stay for the last few days of our trip so no one was going to be available to receive the packages. Additionally they shipped out double of what we ordered, our intention was to get a bottle each of the 4 single vineyard plus 2 La Jota Chardonnay and they sent 8+4. When we got home a week later the wine got lost, and getting the corrected (4 Cabernet and 2 Chardonnays) replacement is taking over 3 weeks. My patience has run out, I don’t want anything from Lokoya at this point in time. Very disappointing with the shipping department and customer service.”
