“this restaurant was so amazing!!! i took myself on a solo date here on friday april 17 around 11 pm and i must say i had a good time. first, i caught the young lady (her name is Lane) at the first desk right as she was leaving for the night & she still was able to get me a table despite the fact that it was really busy. my waitress, Denise, was so sweet as well. the food was great and reasonable priced. $80-100 for 2 drinks, appetizer, entree, & small dessert. ambiance was great too. at 11:30pm they turned all the lights off, turned the music up, passed out sparklers, and started swinging their napkins in the air. im not sure if this is a Greek tradition but i loved it!! it was so fun i will definitely be back with friends!!”
“Lyra was truly a beautiful, beautiful surprise. We didn’t even have a reservation and ended up sitting at the bar — and honestly, it turned into one of the best dining experiences. From the very first moment, the service was exceptional — professional, warm, and genuinely welcoming. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. The tuna tartare — one of the best I’ve had The octopus — perfectly cooked, with that authentic Greek flavor, rich in oregano and spice The oysters — fresh and beautifully presented Every dish had that clean, elevated Mediterranean taste that’s hard to find. The drinks were also excellent, perfectly balanced and beautifully presented — everything felt thoughtful and high quality. The atmosphere is stylish, vibrant, and inviting — the kind of place where you can enjoy both a relaxed evening or a special night out.”
“Lýra combines authentic Greek flavors with the upscale vibe of Fulton Market. With an extensive wine list and a clear emphasis on starter dishes, my girlfriend and I opted to share several “mezze” options. The tzatziki and feta dips came in solid portions delivered with 8 warm pita. This alone was a filling dish with outstanding flavor, especially the feta. The meatballs balls were the star of the show. Topped with a spicy tomato sauce, paired with a Greek yogurt sauce, and garnished with mint, every bite was special. Finally, the calamari. This presentation was great, topped with fried lemon slices and sliced Fresno chiles. Fed two people with two glasses of wine for ~$75. Had some pita and dip to take home. Excited to come back and try more.”
“Went to the bar and got a drink and also decided to get an order of their meatballs appetizer which is very delicious! Had a Martini and an Old Fashioned and while they were both great drinks, the Old Fashioned was out of this world. Service was great and the ambience was too. Will definitely come back!”
“My date and I visited Lyra as part of Restaurant Week 2026. I had never been to this restaurant but was excited to try it because I enjoy Greek food. Lyra delivered an amazing experience - from the food to the ambiance to the service. Everything was top notch! The food: 1. Saganaki - impressed they lit it table side and it was not too salty. 2. Grilled Octopus - well seasoned and a generous portion. 3. Tuna tartar - tuna was fresh and perfect level of heat. 4. Greek salad - no lettuce, a large chunk of feta, and a nice hit of acidity. 5. Deconstructed pistatsio - it has a deeply flavorful bechamel sauce and filled me up. 6. Alaskan halibut - light, flaky, and the exact counter point to the pistatsio (because my date was looking for a lighter entree). 7. Orange syrup cake - nice citrus and light (much needed after eating the pistatsio). 8. Chocolate cake - rich, decadent, and dense (paired well with my date’s fish entree). The dining room is elegant, comfortable, and imbued with a golden glow from their choice of fabrics and lighting. And the ambiance is lively and energetic. We had an absolutely great waiter who was prompt and efficient but never pushy. I had no problems ordering from the Restaurant Week menu, the “golden hour” menu, and their regular menu. If you do go during the “golden hour” (their happy hour), then you will probably get a better deal on their cocktails than ordering the drink pairing. You should absolutely try this restaurant for Restaurant Week.”
