“Incredible experience! Chef Tyson was amazing and made the most amazing food. We can't believe the quality and experience we had for the price, it was too good! The outdoor event was so fun and intimate, the staff was incredible, the food and drinks were spot on, and the night could not have gone better. An extra thanks to the server Car, the chefs good friend and host, and everyone else that waited on us. I could not recommend it enough.”
“We came here for our 5 year anniversary, the atmosphere was quiet but welcoming with a gorgeous interior, the service was great, and the food was amazing! After looking over and discussing all the mouthwatering options with our amazing and experienced server Gabriel, We chose to do the Mar-Makase. It did not disappoint in the slightest, with this choice we had the opportunity to sit back and relax while our dinner entrees came out from the kitchen. Each and every interaction we had as with a thoughtful and knowledgeable server, each plate was beautiful and delicious. Our drinks were as scrumptious as dinner, I don’t drink and they accommodated by creating a ginger beer that looked just like a gorgeous mocktail and my boyfriend got the campfire old fashioned which was smoky and sweet with the perfect bite. For the perfect end to our evening, we were served the most irresistible dessert. It was ooey-gooey and the whipped cream was perfectly fluffy.”
“I wanted a great place to take my bestie to dinner for her birthday, and Mar Muntanya nailed it! The food, service and atmosphere were phenomenal. We shared the Smoked Tomatoes with 14 month aged Manchego cheese, the Funeral Croquettas, and the Local Prime Beef Hanger. I don't usually go to restaurants of such high caliber, but this place was absolutely perfect for a special occasion. Our waiter Car was fabulous. Friendly, helpful, and he brought us a complimentary dessert for my friends bday: a delicious bread pudding with ice cream. We sat on the balcony, and the views were stunning. A perfect evening.”
“This was my first time going to Matteo’s. I went with my husband for a night in SLC before the Jazz game. The new Chase sapphire reserve credit card gives dining credits and this is one of the select locations. That’s what brought us here and I’m so glad it did!! The service was amazing and our waiter took very good care of us. It was the perfect amount of checking in but not being overbearing. I didn’t take pictures of everything but some things that’s stood out were the Lasagna, focaccia bread, caesar salad and chocolate mousse dessert. The restaurant had great lighting and felt like the perfect date night location!”
“I absolutely loved my experience at Matteo! Our server, Brenda, was so much fun and so knowledgeable. I got the vodka pasta which was just absolutely wonderful. The brownie tiramisu and the cheesecake were to die for. I will absolutely come back here again!”
