“Great experience all around! Our server was very personable and attentive! She brought us some champagne before we could even order any for our special day. The food tasted great and menu has options for everyone and are decent sizes. Dessert was also delicious! Atmosphere was nice with music playing. It’s also nice that the restaurant hours are later than most other ones in the area.”

“Michael’s on East catered our daughter’s wedding last weekend and they did a truly magnificent job. The food, the presentation, and the service were all outstanding. We knew from the very beginning of our planning that we wanted Michael’s on East to do our catering and we will never regret that decision. The planning was fun and easy and we got great suggestions from Phil about how to vary the menu and balance all the offerings. The tasting was a fantastic experience and a special memory. On the day of the wedding, our onsite catering team led by the incomparable Tracey Mccammack, delivered an experience second to none. The food stations and bars were beautiful and they had plenty of staff to ensure fabulous service. I heard comments like, “I’ve never had better food at a wedding in my life.” And, “wow, so much food was being prepared on site and it’s so delicious.” And “you knocked it out of the park with this amazing food.” We would pick Phil, Tracey, and Michael’s on East again in a minute!! “We celebrated my mother’s 85th birthday at Michael’s On East and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. We began at the bar with Rick, who crafted excellent cocktails—especially a smooth, well-balanced Patrón margarita—while we enjoyed the piano-side ambiance. Once seated, Greg provided attentive, knowledgeable service and guided us through the menu and specials with ease. The food was exceptional. The Tomahawk steak was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, the wedge salad was crisp and classic, and the Chilean sea bass over lobster risotto was absolutely delicious. A highlight of the evening was when Greg surprised us with a complimentary chocolate cake with candles as we celebrated—an incredibly thoughtful touch. The décor is elegant and timeless, reminiscent of classic fine dining restaurants up north. Highly recommend for special occasions—we’ll definitely be back.”

“This place is by far the best meal I’ve had in all of Sarasota. My server Greg was amazing and had some incredible recommendations. I simply followed his lead. We sat at a wonderful table in the inside dining room and celebrated our 1-year anniversary. We started off with some mocktails and appetizers were the Colossal Shrimp Cocktail and we split a Caesar Salad. The shrimp were indeed COLOSSAL! She had the Organic Farm Raised 16oz Prime Rib and I had the 10oz Filet Oscar. Both were perfectly cooked Medium Rare. My side I chose the Truffle Mac & Cheese, very yummy and creamy. For dessert we did the Brownie Stack and the Crème Brûlée. Again both amazing. We were happy, full, and cannot wait to do this again. Top notch experience on ALL levels.”
