Every dish that hit the table was rich, comforting, and clearly crafted with care and quality ingredients. The pasta was perfectly cooked and generously coated in a flavorful, well-balanced red sauce, finished with just the right amount of freshly grated cheese. The meatballs were tender, hearty, and deeply savory—easily some of the best I’ve had, with incredible texture and seasoning. The baked dish (with melted cheese bubbling over the top) was indulgent, comforting, and packed with bold, classic Italian flavors that felt both rustic and refined. Beyond the food, the service truly elevated the experience. Our waitress, Randy, was phenomenal—attentive, warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. She made us feel taken care of without being intrusive, which made the meal even more enjoyable. From the food to the atmosphere to the service, everything was on point. “Exceptional dining experience on all fronts. Unquestionably the best Caesar salad I’ve ever had. Maybe the best pasta dish I’ve had (tagliatelle bolognese)…or at least in a very long time. And an insane olive oil cake that I would have probably never chosen on my own but was recommended to us by our server, Drew, who was great (friendly, thoughtful, and very knowledgeable) I highly recommend this place.”

“Last night I checked out this restaurant—it had a beautiful setting and can be perfect for date night, friends, or family. I had a really great waiter, Adam, who was knowledgeable about the menu and gave awesome recommendations. I started off with the breadsticks, which were good, although some were burnt and you could taste it. However, the cheese pull was great and the flavor was still enjoyable—I just removed the burnt edges. I had the shrimp scampi with a side of pasta, and it was excellent. My friend had the spicy pasta with pork, and she loved it. The dessert was awesome as well. There’s plenty of parking around, and street parking is free after 6 PM. Parking decks are available, but they have a 2-hour limit.”

“This is such a nice restaurant in the heart of Decatur. It has a great vibe and pleasant staff. The price of the food did not translate to taste. Everything we ordered was just ‘okay’. Nothing you’ll be craving in the weeks to come. I’d recommend this place for a mid day drink”
