“What a great addition to the Boulder area! Me and my wife sat at the bar and had such a great experience. We were greated by Ali, the bar manager who walked us trough the cocktail menu and gave us his recommendations. Next we ordered some nigiris and crispy rice which compared to our recent travel to Japan!!! Definitely also try the handrolls (spicy tuna and the snow crab)! The The burger is a must try, so juicy and the miso aioli with the cabbage and pepper jelly works perfectly. The wings are also top notch! Nice tangy fish sauce with crispy parts of peanuts! Loved it! Finished with the mochi churro! We’ll be back soon!”

“Short story, dont miss this sleek and satisfying new offering. With the addition of Odd Rabbit to their restaurant family, Chris and Ariana have made a strong entrance to the Boulder food scene. Their focused menu brings modern twists to Japanese offerings and pairings. The cucumber salad, scallops, and and spicy salmon crispy rice were note worthy. The spicy shoyu with the rabbit confit cake was novel and satisfying. Hot mochi churros to close it out? A balanced ending to a great meal. Our server Alijosa, and the bartender Ali were kind and attentive. The whole front of the house put in the effort. I look forward to returning”

“Odd rabbit is a solid addition to the boulder dining scene. it adds value to the already great East Boulder dining scene of Basta and Blackbelly. The owner Chris is unpretentious and has the ephemeral joy of good cooking. The lead bartend Ali was super approachable and responsive even when we gave him constructive criticism. The standout dishes for me were the spicy ramen, he blue fin sashimi, the cucumber dish and the mochi ramen. I really enjoyed the salmon crispy rice but I thought the rice cake was a bit heavy. Our server, Aliihosa, was it attentive without being intrusive and knew the menu well. On a Tuesday night, it was surprisingly packed for a large footprint restaurant. The lighting was well done and the overall ambiance was excellent. it was a surprise to find a new commercial location underneath a residential development and a real joy for me to find another new restaurant that I enjoy in Boulder.”

“Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish!! The atmosphere is SO welcome in Boulder- finally a modern restaurant with an exciting, fresh menu and cozy space. Service was beyond- we were so well taken care of by the entire Odd Rabbit team. I'm vegetarian and LOVED the cucumber salad & mushroom hand roll- my husband adored the rabbit cake ramen and raved about the sushi he tried. The portions were generous, everything was flavorful and plated beautifully; we capped the evening off with the delicious mochi churro which was unbelievable. So excited to have a new staple like this in Boulder- we'll be back often!!”

“4 years ago I left a glowing - pun intended, apologies - for Glo Noodle House, Ari & Chris Teigland's first restaurant. Since then, they've won 3 Michelin Bib Gourmand awards for that restaurant. Eating at Odd Rabbit, their elevation of food/cocktail taste and creativity, as well as dedication to high quality service is easily apparent! This is the more sophisticated sibling to Glo, but still retains the fun and quality found there. The menu (see photo) is varied, with something for everyone. I personally liked the sashimi dishes with the Hamachi as one of my favorites so far. I say so far because we'll definitely be visiting over & over to try *every dish and cocktail* on the menu, plus their large sake selection. I need more of their sushi! The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring throughout the meal that our table was filled with food and drink, while removing the many empty plates we left throughout the night. Congratulations to Ari & Chris on another booming success!”
