POPL Burger

“Great burger! Done medium(pink in the middle)if you don’t know or don’t ask. A bit slow to prepare. Only open for takeaway on Sunday at 12:30pm. Worth trying. Kiddie burger seemed more like a smash burger and was simple and crispy and buttery.”

“It’s definitely a burger you don’t easily find anywhere. The balance of the tastes is unique. The Popl combo (classic) is my favourite, followed by the vegan with quinoa burger and the cheeseburger. The bun is very tasty. All the ingredients in the burger are working to give you a full experience of new tastes.”

“I had heard a lot about POPL Burger, being the best burger in town! After our visit and reflecting on the overall experience, then it was a good burger. I had the 60 days aged beef burger. Very clean in taste, good meat and brioche bun, but that is pretty much it. It comes with cheese, but provides hardly any taste to contribute to the overall taste experience. We chose all the sides dishes, puntarelle salad, fries and cabbage. As much as I'm a strong supporter of salt in your food, then both the fries and cabbage had been served a pinch of too much salt where a better balance was missing. Spoke with my 14 year old son about the overall experience, and he too said a good burger, but nothing special, and not something to crave for another visit. Been there, done that 🫠! Excellent service and attention, which is always a great experience 👍🏼!”

“I would have loved for this to be a 5 star burger; after all: it’s somehow connected to noma. But between almost 30 minutes of waiting for burger and fries to be ready, the excellent fries and the - unfortunately - not much more than solid burger, I can’t go higher than 3 stars, not for that price, not after I had great fast food burgers from In N Out in May and Shake Shack at the end of last year”

“Sadly we had prebooked the menu, no possibility for 1 menu and 1 a la carte dinner. This was a huge let down, as we either both had to do a la carte or both the menu.. we did end up going for the latter. We were let down by underwhelming flavors, and bad communication. Ordered at 1830 and at 1900 when the main was served we were informed that the dry aged beef was not available anymore. No fries with the burger but 2 sides or courses of the menu. Very odd.. sides were not up to.par and no outstanding flavors.. burgers were ok but not great. White asparagus course had the most flavor. Service without a smile.. Not worth the 500 kr p.p 70+ EUR.”
