“Had an amazing time at 1789 restaurant. The server Tye was fantastic and the food was absolutely delicious. We got the lobster fettuccine, lamb chops and filet mignon. Everything was great, in every single bite. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.”

My husband had the venison and I ordered the lamb; both were stunning in presentation and even better in flavor. Every bite felt thoughtful and elevated. Heidi took amazing care of us, and Stephen and Nick made the entire experience feel warm, polished, and genuinely celebratory. Service like that makes all the difference. “My boyfriend made a reservation here, and it was my first time visiting. The place is so beautiful that I honestly can’t explain it in words. Everything was very clean, and the waiter was extremely kind and professional. They explained every detail to us, which made the experience even better. The food was fresh, clean, and literally so tasty I would give it 100/100. They checked on us often and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. I have never been to a place like this before, and I’m so grateful to my boyfriend for choosing it. All the staff were so nice, kind, and attentive. It was our first date, so this place is very special to us and will always be our favorite. Whenever we think about where we went on our first date, this place will come to mind, and we will definitely come again. I don’t remember everything we ordered since my boyfriend chose most of the food, but we enjoyed everything so much. The bread with butter was amazing my boyfriend loved it so much, and I did too. “My husband and I had an absolutely amazing experience at 1789 in Georgetown. The menu was outstanding, with so many enticing options—from Wagyu tartare and foie gras to scallops, mussels, duck breast, and rack of lamb. We began with the caviar service, which was a perfect way to start, and followed with the New Bedford scallops, which were mouthwatering and full of flavor. The Banks Island mussels were also absolutely divine. The atmosphere made the evening even more special—historic, elegant, and vibrant, a perfect backdrop for such a memorable meal. What truly set the night apart, though, was the service. Steven, our server, along with the rest of the team, provided some of the best service we’ve experienced in a long time. Every detail was attended to seamlessly: our wine glasses were refilled without us needing to ask, courses were checked on within a few bites, and the entire staff was warm, professional, and attentive without ever being intrusive. Overall, 1789 delivered on every level—phenomenal food, beautiful ambiance, and impeccable service.”
