“My husband and I went here for the first time. In a word: amazing! Everything from the service to the food was exceptional. They serve their food family style so it makes it all shareable for the table. I highly recommend the peanut butter & chocolate cake. Just make sure you leave room for it. We definitely want to go back so we can try more menu items! Lastly, make sure to make a reservation.”

“This was a highlight on our last trip to Vegas. The restaurant is beautiful, but the service and food were the star. Our waitress did an excellent job explaining the menu and recommended that we order 4-6 items for two people. We ended up doing 5 it’s, and we were stuffed. Everything is served family style, and they bring it out in waves so you are always getting new dishes to munch on. The grilled cheese and tomato dumplings were insane. We also did the French dips, salmon, and mac and cheese and everything was fantastic. Presentation was beautiful. We finished up with the donuts. Our waitress gave excellent recommendations, including their Green With Envy drink which was delicious. We aren’t big drinkers, but drinks here are a must. The wait staff were extremely lovely and attentive, always explaining the dishes when they came to the table, refilling waters, and removing any dirty dishes. Our visit exceeded our expectations and we cannot wait to return next time we’re in Vegas!”

“This is our second time visiting and the experience was amazing again. We ordered the tomato soup and grilled cheese dumplings which had a totally unique taste and presentation. The shrimp cocktail was good but the prawns were a little on the skimpy side. We sat at the bar and the service was friendly and quick. The build-out and atmosphere was top-notch high-end Vegas. We'd definitely go again the next time we're in town!”

“We came here for my birthday dinner with a reservation and sat in the dining area. We also came again the next day and sat at the bar. Both were enjoyable, the food is creative & flavorful. The grilled cheese & tomato soup was amazing, you must try it! The shrimp, pizza and French dip sliders were also very tasty! We took the donut holes home, they were good, nothing special though. We want to go back and try the butterscotch desert.”

“Beauty & Essex is a fun experience. The speakeasy-style entrance through the pawn shop is really cool, and once you’re inside, the restaurant is way bigger than you’d expect. It’s darkly lit, beautifully decorated, and very glam with drapes everywhere and pretty light fixtures. It’s a vibey spot. The food was good overall. The grilled cheese and tomato soup dumplings were a unique and memorable appetizer. The chicken meatballs had great flavor, and the yellowtail crudo was light and fresh. The BBQ fries were solid too, with an actual BBQ chip–style seasoning that stood out. One downside was that the hot dishes didn’t come out very hot so it definitely feels like they’re just all premade and waiting to be sent out. Drinks are pre-batched, which was a bit disappointing since there’s no room for modifications or custom cocktails. Service was decent, and a really nice touch was the complimentary flourless chocolate cake they brought out for our anniversary. Overall, a great atmosphere and a fun place for a special occasion, especially if you’re going for the vibe as much as the food.”
