“Billy Sushi absolutely exceeded every expectation and made my birthday dinner one I’ll never forget. I decided to treat myself for my birthday, and from the moment I sat down, the experience was incredible. I ordered all three cuts of bluefin tuna to compare them, and the fatty bluefin (otoro) was honestly one of the best pieces of sushi I’ve ever had. It completely melted in my mouth—it was so good that I had to order it a second time. To make the evening even more special, the chef Miguel surprised me with a complimentary piece of smoked fatty salmon after hearing it was my birthday. That personal touch meant so much and perfectly reflects the hospitality here. Every bite showcased the quality of the fish, the attention to detail, and the skill of the chefs. The service was warm, genuine, and made me feel welcomed from start to finish. If you’re looking for some of the best sushi in the Twin Cities, Billy Sushi is absolutely worth it. “This was my first time at Billy‘s sushi and it was absolutely fantastic. I loved how the flavors were all natural. For example, my beef stir-fry was marinated in a very juicy, but not strong marinade and it brought out the natural flavors of the beef wonderfully. The noodles were delicious and extremely fresh. The Miso soup was so tasty. I will definitely be back. The staff is also extremely friendly and kind and we had a great time with them.”

“People had long recommended Billy Sushi to me, but only final just got there. It was definitely worth the wait. Good atmosphere, and some of the best sushi I’ve had in Minneapolis. Billy is not cheap, and it’s sufficiently packed all the time so it’s unlikely to be a regular haunt. But worth the splurge (especially if a wealthy friend offers to buy). Will go back.”

“Came here for my birthday. So glad they allow reservations. We sat at the sushi bar. The workers were friendly and said hi. Serve was nice. Our favorite thing we had were the tostadas!! It was their special that day. The mango , cilantro? Tuna.. with that crunch … and what ever yummy sauce the had on top Was amazing Everything was delicious. Of course I had to try the bluefin while I was there.”
