“My girlfriend and I went to BOM which was an incredible dining experience from start to finish. The intimate chef’s counter setup made the evening feel personal and immersive — we enjoyed being able to watch the chefs carefully plate and assemble each dish right in front of us. The attention to detail, precision, and artistry behind every course was amazing to see. The Korean cuisine was exceptional, balancing refined technique with authentic flavors and creativity. Every course felt thoughtfully curated and beautifully presented. We also decided to do all of the upgrades along with the non-alcoholic pairing, and it was absolutely worth it. The pairing was fantastic — unique, sophisticated, and perfectly complemented each dish without feeling like an afterthought. The entire experience felt elegant yet warm, and the service was polished throughout the night. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable fine dining experience in NYC”
“A phenomenal experience! Bom was top tier in every element- food, drinks, service, decor, etc. I celebrated my birthday here and the staff were exceptionally sweet. They are very attentive and will take care of you. The food was creative and every bite was balanced in flavour. You also get a lot of food for a tasting menu. Expect to leave stuffed. We opted for all of the upgrades available at the time, which were caviar, truffles, and A5. The first two were used as enhancements to dishes in the menu, and the A5 was grilled as extra protein for the congee set at the end. It was all incredible! If I had to pick my favourite dishes of the night, they would be the tofu course with perilla oil dressing, or the dry aged ribeye course. We will definitely be back!”
“What an experience!! I celebrated my birthday in December and enjoyed the tasting menu with champagne pairing. I was told the champagne pairing was only an option during December so lucky me! The food was amazing. From the small bites to the dessert, I was constantly wanting more. Not because I wasn’t satisfied by the amount but because I didn’t want it to end. There was one dish, as beautiful as it was, I wasn’t a fan. I think it was tofu and I don’t like the texture. The champagne paired nicely, however, I wouldn’t do it again next time. The pairing cost more than the dinner, so I would have preferred slightly heavier pours :) I often dine alone and I didn’t feel out of place. The presentations from the chef’s and somm were on point and the small chats with the somm made me feel a part of the whole room. None of my words can do Bōm justice. Run don’t walk and treat yourself to an unforgettable night of beautiful and tasty dishes.”
“Came here for my anniversary dinner, and it was a decent experience. Service was good. The tasting menu started off strong the amuse-bouche, which were all delicious and flavor bombs in a bite. The main portion though, were a bit mixed, as there were individual components (eg the asparagus o the clams, some of the banchan for the rice, etc) that were delicious, and other part that were just average (e.g. the mushroom rice, the steak, etc). Not really sure why the uni was paired with the steak, as it didn’t feel like it added much. The dessert portion was my favorite part of the meal - both the sorbet and the moon jar shaped desserts were delicious.”
“honestly left this place feeling a bit emotionally confused. the first few dishes were great, i was impressed with the bites i had and the meats were cooked to perfection. towards the end i felt disappointed by the flavor combinations. i'm not exactly sure what happened but the final plate / spread of rice and banchan really lost us. some great, some not so great, and i didn't feel that the combination of it all really meshed well together. it's hard to judge because the service was top level, matching what you pay for. and the most impressive were the nonalcoholic beverage options. that's really what made the whole meal worth it in the end after going back and forth in our heads about how we felt. not to mention that we had clarified allergies ahead of the reservation as well as right when we were seated. my partner has a peanut allergy and they served him a peanut dessert - luckily my partner caught it right before digging into the first bite :P close one...”
