Centrolina is an Italian restaurant and market, locally owned and operated by Chef Amy Brandwein, set in Washington’s CityCenterDC development. The Osteria showcases a seasonally driven menu of authentic and innovative Italian dishes offered for lunch and dinner. Chef Brandwein's menu is inspired from the seasons, Italian regionality and the wide variety of Chef curated product in the adjoining market. The market showcases a selection of imported Italian specialty items along with locally sourced meat, sustainable fish, and produce from local farms. The Centrolina kitchen produces daily hand crafted fresh pasta and sauces, antipasti and entrees available for takeaway. For parties of 7 people or more, we do require a prix-fixe menu, please email caroline@centrolinadc.com for additional information.
“Dinner at Centrolina did not disappoint. We had the Grosso Rombo with zucchini flower, the Pappardelle with delicious morel mushrooms, Neri with squid ink & tuna, and the Poussin...which was piled high and as you can tell from one of the pictures it was a hit! 😂 And don't even get me started on dessert...absolutely delicious! 🍰 A big thank you to Rene M for taking such great care of us. If you're ever in D.C., this place is definitely worth a visit!”
“Food was delicious and service was great. Everything we ate was delicious, just know that the portions are small.”
“Great food and very attentive service. The portions were on the smaller side, but everything was really well prepared. Even the delicate pear salad had many complex flavors. It's an upscale place on a shopping street, they have a more casual cafe across the street that I haven't visited.”
“We might not dress like it, but my partner and I love to splurge on fine dining. We received hands down, the best service we have received at any restaurant in a very long time, at Centrolina by Ali and staff! This restaurant was recommended by a family member who sometimes works in DC. She said to go here for the unique flavors and she definitely wasn’t wrong. The food was delicious. We will definitely return and we will be requesting Ali as our server!”
“So incredibly disappointed. I tried Centrolina a couple years ago and have always considered it one of the better Italian restaurants in DC. However my recent experience was abysmal. Our pastas took an hour to come and by the time they arrived, they were lukewarm at best. Not to mention my ($36) pasta was dry, nearly sauceless, overcooked, matted together, and completely embarrassing. See photo. Luckily, our server was lovely and offered some consolation for this. But from a quality standpoint, I’m really shocked by what a flop this was.”
