Clark's features classic American seafood with an emphasis on freshness, local products, simple preparation, attention to detail, and clean presentation. Classic coastal cooking from the Texas Gulf to the Northeastern Seaboard influences Clark's menu. A large portion of the concept is devoted to oysters, raw bar, seafood, and caviar. We procure the freshest oysters from small harvesters around North America and serve cold seafood platters featuring super fresh daily specials. “Alex made my happy hour at Clark’s Oyster Bar. She found me a seat at the oyster bar on a busy afternoon, made me feel welcome, and was so kind throughout my visit. We had a great conversation about the Dallas location, and her hospitality made the experience even better. Thanks, Alex. I’ll definitely be back!”
“We ordered the lobster rolls and crab cake. I'd say the lobster roll was decent but not spectacular. I prefer main style lobster rolls which has mayo and celery. Connecticut lobster rolls are also popular which is mostly butter. Clark's lobster roll combines both styles and i felt it overpowered the lobster. The lobster was high quality and fresh and I liked the roll it was served on. They do not offer gluten free bread options. I have a love-hate relationship with their fries, I love shoe string fries but they are really hard to eat and it is awkward to eat them in a nicer dining setting. Thr crab cake was entirely crab and i could not taste any breading, no complaints there. I would much rather get a lobster roll from here where in a elevated ambiance than a food truck, especially when the price difference is miniminal. A major negative is that the lettuce the lobster was served on was not washed properly, it has dirt on it.”
“This place has to be my favorite oyster bar in Austin. I came here for my birthday with my family and we were met with outstanding service. Personally I like outside seating the the staff was extremely accommodating and attentive. They had a variety of oysters (which I assume they change every month or so) and I thoroughly enjoyed each one! My brother got the Black Angus hamburger and I got the oak octopus and it was delicious. The string fries were a little hard, though otherwise amazing!! The mock tails were good as well”
“Went into today for brunch at 11:00 am. Had never done brunch before and ask our sever Christian what he would recommend! For starters he recommended the salty sister oysters, he then recommended the mussels and clams for the entree, which was a 10/10 perfectly executed by the chefs the warm broth at the bottom was perfect for today’s cooler weather. Will definitely be back”
“Dinner at Clark’s last night and it absolutely delivered. The lobster roll was excellent and the oysters were delicious — we had a mix from New Brunswick and Massachusetts that were fresh and briny in the best way. The real surprise of the night was the ceviche, which might honestly be the best I’ve ever had. Around the table, the burger got rave reviews, the crispy salmon with polenta was really good, and the linguini with clams was a big hit as well. Drinks were great too — a crisp local pilsner from Meanwhile Brewing and a fantastic mocktail. Add in wonderful service and the whole experience felt relaxed, polished, and genuinely enjoyable. A great night out all around.”
