“Fun and elegant place. The food settings are very playful for some dish dishes and others are very elegant. The wine pairing is very boring, it’s something that any one can already find on their local wine store. Most of the wine they serve us I have already tried 😬”
“Very unique and memorable experience. There is a big focus on presentation, there is edible paper, unique stone plates, one dish had to be licked off the plate, another smashed with hands and eaten with hands. Flavors were good, but for me it is was a bit strange to go from sweet to savory and back. But it is a unique experience and I am so glad we did it. There were also quite a lot of sweet dishes, however we did a special valentine's day menu, so it could be different with a regular one. Overall definitely worth visiting for fun memories.”
“I brought my husband here for his birthday and we had a wonderful dinner experience. We chose the 20 course menu and it satisfied every taste bud. It was a euphoric moment. It was also good to hear about the history of Columbia. The service was outstanding. If o could give more stars I would.”
“I had the 18 course tasking menu and wasn’t amazed. For the price it is disappointing. They spilled water on me and barely apologised, we had empty glasses for like 40 minutes and in general the service was way below average. Drinks were fine and presentation of the food was really nice. Nothing did really stand out from the taste perspective”
“We came to Elcielo Miami's terrace hoping to pair the excitement of the World Cup with a truly great meal. While Elcielo holds a Michelin star for its main dining room experience, it’s important for future guests to know that the terrace’s casual a la carte menu does not reflect that same star power. The menu is heavily limited, offering only a tiny glimpse into their signature concepts. The cocktails were absolutely fantastic and easily the best part of the evening. We also tried the Tree of Life, which was a very good, beautifully presented brioche bread, and the lobster encocado (essentially their upscale take on a lobster roll), which was quite tasty. For our main entree, we ordered the mix of sausages. While they tasted fine, they were frankly irrelevant and boring for a restaurant of this pedigree. Last disappointing comment. I completely understand that the terrace operates differently from the main dining room, it’s geared more toward drinks and casual bites. However, given that casual nature, the restaurant's policies should match the setting. We wanted to take our leftovers home, but were told the restaurant does not provide to-go boxes. Forcing guests to waste food because of a rigid "fine dining" policy on a casual outdoor terrace makes zero sense.”
