“This place is truly wonderful, and I believe you will discover a delightful variety of options concerning food, drinks, and the overall atmosphere. The seating area, adorned with a magnificent skylight, creates a bright and inviting ambiance. While you can enjoy the spacious seating, there are also some more intimate sections that feature a lovely bar along with additional seating. Whether you're looking for a cozy corner, a romantic nook, or a lively social setting, this restaurant has it all. As this was my first visit, we had made reservations based on a strong recommendation. Upon arrival, we were seated within just 10 minutes, and our server promptly greeted us to take our drink orders. Each of us chose different cocktails, and I must say, they were simply outstanding. I’ll provide descriptions of those cocktails below. Most of my companions were there to indulge in the buffet part of the menu, with me being the exception as the outlier, so to speak—being vegan. The restaurant enforces a policy that if you opt for the buffet, you can only choose items from the buffet, which I fully understand to prevent unnecessary sharing. However, they graciously made an exception in my case, and for that, I am truly grateful. This says a lot about the type of establishment this is, especially considering the buffet had very little to offer me besides fruit. While fruit is fine, I was hoping for a bit more variety. I decided to order a remarkably delicious falafel burger, without cheese, and I requested some barbecue sauce on the side along with a touch of hot sauce and a serving of freshly cut sweet potato fries. It certainly ranks among the best falafel burgers I’ve ever tasted. You can see in the accompanying pictures some of what others in my party enjoyed, including roasted chicken, barbecued ribs, salmon, and eggs Benedict. There’s so much to recount! The pictures will indeed tell the whole story, as everyone relished what they had ordered. The drinks were exceptional and so was the service we received. Our server, Evan, truly excelled in his role. He was attentive at every moment, offered insightful suggestions, and was accurate with every detail. The only tiny bit of feedback we have, and we really don’t want to hold it against this lovely place, is that they are quite busy. The lighting in the women’s bathroom is really dim, making it tricky for everyone to see, and the skylight itself seemed pretty dirty. I understand this can be tough with the daily weather changes, and there’s a bit of dust on the air ducts, but I realize these things can be an ongoing challenge. Just thought I’d share what I noticed! Thank you immensely for such a wonderful experience! I wholeheartedly give this establishment five stars across the board!”
“We had a great experience here. The burgers were juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, with really good quality ingredients. The sides were just as impressive, crispy and well-seasoned, especially the onion rings. Briana did a great job serving us and made the experience even better with her service. She answered all our questions and explained the menu really well”
“This is a super cool place, with fresh, delicious goods. They do not have many gluten free options, but the staff is trained on what is cross contaminated and what is safe. Also that 2019 margarita is my new fav and I look forward to coming to the area again to have a few. I had the steak frites, they were cooked perfectly, no fat. Tender and juicy. And we went back before we left and I had the enchiladas. Chicken was tender, flavorful sauce and a great cold mixed veggie dish that was unique. I feel there is a great story behind the sign too...I have a few from work who could be behind this, but they claim they havent been in this area before lol”
“We recently hosted a bridal brunch at Founding Farmers, and the experience was very enjoyable from start to finish. The staff was professional, courteous, and accommodating throughout the event planning process. They allowed us to bring in the centerpieces we designed, which helped add a personal touch to the celebration. While the bridal brunch was taking place, members of the bridal party decided to stay and dine in. Instead of ordering from the brunch menu, we chose to order à la carte, and I'm glad we did. The food was excellent. The burger appetizers were absolutely delectable and disappeared quickly from the table. I ordered the Hot Honey Fried Chicken, which was cooked to perfection crispy, flavorful, and well-seasoned. The accompanying tomatoes were surprisingly delicious and complemented the meal nicely. My only criticism would be the string beans, which were a bit undercooked and served cooler than I would have preferred. The grits were very good, and adding a little sugar gave them the perfect finishing touch. For drinks, I tried the Strawberry Rhubarb cocktail. It packed a punch, but it was well-balanced and enjoyable. Overall, I left very pleased with both the service and the food. The combination of a welcoming staff, quality dishes, and a successful event experience made for a memorable visit. I definitely plan to return and experience their brunch menu in the future. Highly recommended.”
“First time dining experience and we’ll never be back. My husband and I came for the first time and were seated for brunch. The staff made no effort to let us know the price or details on their brunch. We noticed they have a buffet style brunch Saturday and Sunday, we went on Monday, we were not given the option to order from the regular breakfast menu nor informed that we would need to be seated at the bar. The server was dismissive and refused to let us hold onto our menus. Once we figured out it was $35 per person we went downstairs to the cafe to get food there. The girl who took our order in the cafe, told me there were no burritos and it would be 10 minutes to make either the tacos or the sandwich so I ordered the breakfast tacos which took 20 minutes to make, and no attempt to explain that. My husband ordered his breakfast sandwich after me and his came out 5 minutes before mine. The breakfast sandwich was cold to the touch when it was given to us and even the parfait was dated for yesterday 5/24, smelled sour and was inedible. We ended up taking the food home and it looked and tasted so gross we just made food at home. Terrible service, terrible food, go waste your money somewhere else!”
