“Founding Farmers doesn’t usually fail, and this location was no different. We had a decent size group that had staggered arrivals. Our server was super patient with both. The food came out quickly, even the colleagues’ who staggered in after majority of the group sat down! My burger was delicious and cooked to the requested temperature. It seemed as though my colleagues enjoyed their meals as well.”

“Great place for any time of the day. We had late lunch and it was fantastic. We had chicken and biscuits, smashed burger, and fried chicken salads. Everything was fantastic. I also had a mango lime mocktail. Food for any taste and the service was fantastic too. If you come here, ask for Evalese. She’s an incredible server. Very helpful and nice. It’s easy to walk here and there is seating inside and outside.”

“23k reviews, doesn’t need another one but here it goes… Absolutely loved the Creole Blackened Chicken Thighs & Louismill Grits! (It was on a separate menu.) My wife loved her steak salad as well, cooked to perfection. We topped it with their incredible beignets…heavenly. Our server, Meara, was so helpful and actually enhanced our overall experience. Highly recommended!”

“I had such a great experience at Founding Farmers! The food was absolutely amazing—from the black garlic pepper wings to the seven mac and cheese, everything was full of flavor. The Uncle Buck beignets were incredible and definitely a highlight. You can really tell they take the farm-to-table concept seriously because everything tasted fresh, even the ketchup! The atmosphere was great too, with really good music that made the whole experience even better. Our waiter, Edgar, was super helpful and friendly - he guided us through the menu and helped us decide what to get, which we really appreciated. Overall, an amazing meal and I’d definitely come back!”

“This popular downtown DC restaurant was packed, and we had to wait 45 minutes to be seated. Despite the wait, the service was fantastic, and the ambiance was incredible. We started with two refreshing mocktails: Agave Give Me a Break and Honeymoon. To complement our drinks, we ordered garlic black pepper wings. The wings were exotic, fresh, and juicy, a delightful surprise. For our entrees, we opted for a seasonal chicken dish that resembled spatchcock but was cooked in a corn base. We also enjoyed savory watermelon, which was infused with basil and feta cheese. The watermelon was a burst of flavor, perfectly complementing the dish. The dessert was a decadent Uncle Bucks beignet, drizzled with three different sauces: raspberry, caramel, and chocolate. My favorite was the chocolate sauce, which paired wonderfully with the warm beignets. Overall, we had a fantastic time at this restaurant. The attentive waiter ensured that we had a pleasant dining experience, and the food was delicious and well-prepared.”
