A spectacle, an adventure, an unforgettable experience. Prepare to embark on an immersive journey back to the ancient heart of French gastronomy, in our Michelin-starred restaurant led by Chef Jean Imbert.
“Very nice experience with great food, service & decorations that you would expect at this price level. There were many negative reviews due to its former Chef but focusing on restaurant-stuff only, this place is still a must-visit in Paris.”
“Absolute must see and visit during your trip to Paris. I made reservation for their exquisite brunch for my Mom & I. Once the restaurant was opened, we were instantly seated and they had live singer + guitarist (they were amazing!). From the first course to all the way to the last, everything was delicious. Loved the pastries, bread, the meats, sides, and all the desserts. Also, the gilded room with crystal chandeliers was gorgeous. Highly recommend making reservations here and visiting.”
“Our dining experience at Jean Imbert au Plaza Athénée was nothing short of spectacular. We had high expectations, and they were exceeded at every turn. Opting for the Jean Imbert menu, we were treated to a thoughtfully curated journey: two amuse bouche, two exquisite starters, two perfectly executed main courses, a delightful plateau de fromages, and the show-stopping “Le Grand Dessert”—a medley of four incredible desserts prepared at your table, capped off with indulgent chocolates. The portions were surprisingly generous, a rarity in Michelin-starred dining, which made the meal feel both luxurious and satisfying. The wine sommelier elevated the evening with generous pours and impeccable recommendations, pairing each dish flawlessly. The service was warm, attentive, and perfectly orchestrated, adding to the overall magic of the experience. It was an unforgettable evening that we can’t wait to repeat. A true celebration of French gastronomy at its finest!”
“The atmosphere is beyond amazing, we loved everything about the interior design of this place. The service was also the best service we received in Paris and the gentleman serving us was super polite and helpful. We ordered Basket of homemade bread and pastries for the middle and scrambled eggs with cheese and vegetable and shakshouka. They all tasted extraordinary. Highly recommended 10/10”
“I recently dined at this upscale French restaurant that promised a luxurious, high-end experience—and in many ways, it delivered. The service was flawless, with attentive staff who anticipated needs before I could even express them. The ambiance was stunning, from the grand décor to the meticulously set tables, and the overall atmosphere exuded elegance and sophistication. Unfortunately, the food was a massive letdown. The appetizers were easily the highlight. However, once the main courses arrived, the disappointment set in. The nearly 200 Euro each signature chicken and lobster dishes were shockingly bland, lacking the richness and complexity one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Despite the exquisite plating, the flavors simply fell flat, leaving me feeling underwhelmed and questioning the value. For the price point (almost $1000/£800 for 3 people), the experience did not match the expense. While I can’t fault the service or the setting, the food itself is the reason I would not recommend this restaurant. For the money spent, there are far better culinary experiences to be had elsewhere.”
