Kenji Kazoku in Metairie, Louisiana, is the sister restaurant to New Orleans’s acclaimed Kenji Omakase, bringing chef Matthew Nguyen’s modern Japanese technique to a neighborhood setting on Metairie Road. The restaurant keeps the original’s focus on pristine seafood with fish direct from the Toyosu Fish Market in Japan, prepared and dry-aged in-house. Experience Omakase, "trust the chef", with 5-12 bites of nigiri, handrolls and crudo. The a la carte menu built is for sharing - think grilled octopus, luxe toro toast, Texas wagyu, and crispy rice dressed up with truffle.
