“Went here over the weekend and really enjoyed our experience. The food was great (slightly spicy) but delicious. The food came out quickly and our server (Jenny) was very nice. The restaurant wasn’t too loud but it was definitely busy. I’d recommend making a reservation.”
“We came here for our anniversary and left amazed by how good the food and drinks were. We started with the potato churros which tasted like a mixture of the best mashed potatoes and fresh fries I’ve had. The empanadas were good, but I was hoping they were less cheesy and more creamy. The chimichurri adds to the flavor. All our drinks were delicious and I recommend the old fashioned. For the entrees the Tagliatelle with Oxtail and Rigatoni with Oyster Mushrooms both had exquisite sauces. I don’t think I could have asked for anything different. I am usually let down by pasta and this did not disappoint. Our server was attentive and welcoming, the table was plated and organized, and we had a nice few other the kitchen and got to see all the meals being plated. This was one of our favorite date nights, and we will be back in the future to try more of the menu!”
“A must-go spot! We had the CHARRED BRUSSELS SPROUT SALAD and POTATO CHURROS to start. For mains we had the SCALLOPS, ORECCHIETTE, TAGLIATELLE. My favorite was the tagliatelle! It had an amazing red sauce, tender meat, and fresh cheese. The potato churros and empanadas are the best apps! I also ordered a cosmo that was maybe my favorite ever. Great spot for gluten free item too.”
“On the way to Martina’s, my mom called and told me she and my dad didn’t enjoy it, so I walked in with pretty low expectations. But honestly? It blew past even those lowered expectations. I don’t know if they caught it on a bad night, because our dinner was unreal. We started with oysters (oysters are oysters, always solid), and then we tried the potato churros and wow. I did not expect that at all. They were basically the best version of a french fry I’ve ever had in my life. Next up was the beef tongue bruschetta, and that one really surprised me too. I love beef tongue and think it’s one of the most underrated cuts, but I’d never had it presented like that. It was genuinely delicious and had a mix of flavors I’ve never had before. But the all star MVP of the night was the cacio e pepe ravioli (pictured attached is a half serving). I’m not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best pastas I’ve had in my life. It’s very hard to find pasta in Minnesota that really impresses you like that, but this one did. The parmesan quality was obvious, rich, sharp, and just perfect with the pepper. Best cacio e pepe style pasta I’ve ever had, hands down. On top of all that, Nathan took care of us and made the whole experience even better. Great service, super attentive, and the food runners were genuinely kind too. Overall, an awesome night and a meal I’m still thinking about.”
“I came here yesterday to celebrate my birthday. The overall atmosphere was very lively and perfect for a date night. Even though I made reservations, I still had to wait 15-20 minutes for a table due to how busy it was. The waiter assisting was very knowledgeable and friendly. I ordered the potato churros, empanadas, stuffed chicken breast, and the orecchiette. The wait was slightly longer than anticipated. Once the appetiser arrived, they were absolutely phenomenal. I loved the potato churro and the empanadas. The main course was equally as delicious. I would definitely return for their brunch. I overall had a really great experience.”
