“Easily one of the best food + ambiance experiences in New Orleans, whether sitting in an intimate indoor table or in the outdoor courtyard. The cocktail and wine list is noteworthy, and the food is especially great. Highly recommend the steamed mussels and the steak au poivre. The tartes are elevated flatbread with incredible toppings, and were also surprisingly filling. We were too full for dessert, so we are looking forward to coming back to complete the review.”

“The atmosphere is really off the charts here if you get a nice courtyard table with a gentle breeze and just the right amount of soft lighting. The service team is charismatic, and the menu was fresh and the food was delicious! I was visiting for a conference and I’m so glad someone recommended this spot! One note, the entrance is somewhat hidden, just look for a large wooden door with a camera facing down towards the sidewalk.”

“5 stars across the board. I've reviewed quite a lot of restaurants in NOLA and N7 was a real standout. N7 is a true enclave and always great to see restauranteurs establishing haute cuisine in the Bywater. Finding the restaurant is part of the mystery, as you can walk by it and be challenged to find the entry, a solid wood gate which gives little clue as to the expansive courtyard spaces inside. I posted a Pic of the gate to help. A truly enchanting and romantic oasis awaits. I was surprised at the scale of the outdoor spaces that hold a lot of tables, but retain an intimate and romantic feel with dim lighting appropriate for the space. The wine list is extensive, one of the best in NOLA... a pleasant surprise. I like bubbles and ordered a by-the-glass jean-baptiste adam cremant d'alsace rose' that was nearly as good as a similar Krug I once paid $160 for an 8 oz. carafe. The menu was quite unique with intriguing names and descriptions, feeling like I was at a restaurant in a tiny village in the Alsace, France. Each item we ordered was wonderfully presented, with unique flavors I've not experienced before. The service was impeccable as well. Very nice people. I plan to return to N7 often, certainly whenever we have guests visiting NOLA.”

“Quirky A short Uber or drive from the "main" tourist areas Nice grounds and interesting entrance It is predominantly open air or outside...so keep that in mind for those hotter/mugger evenings Nice wine selection Limited menu We tried a variety just to see what we liked or not The sourdough bread was incredibly good I got the fish special...ok/good...but not "great" or worth the price. Duck pate was again "good" but not great. Next time we're in the mood for couples dinner...we'll probably go elsewhere But...your experience may vary”
