“This has become my absolutely favorite place since coming to Memphis for business! People keep telling me, you probably have lots of great steak places in San Francisco! Yes, we have lots of steakhouses and no, most of them are not great! Nothing that I have found is quite like this spot. I love the variety here plus the location, and more recently the wonderful Hannah at the bar! Because even though I love this place, the people working there can be somewhat robotic and lacking interpersonal skills. But, please don't let that deter you. When I leave in June, I'll have fond memories! ~ The Superb-intendent”

“Every visit has been excellent, sometimes the service is better than others, but always good. The food is exceptional and I love their steaks. I wish they would bring back the scallops in puff pastry, however the Lobster Thermidor Mushrooms are absolutely fantastic. The current desserts are delicious and I highly recommend the French Toast Bread Pudding”

“Everything was great - especially my server, Wade! I sat outside, which had a casual yet elevated street view that I enjoyed. The filet was juicy and the truffle fontina potatoes were flavorful and fluffy. The all-star though was the Baked Alaska, which they rotate the flavor for every day. Mine was Raspberry Vanilla. Absolutely incredible flavor and plating and would order every time.”

“My husband and I decided to try this place for our one year wedding anniversary. This was my first time to Memphis and I wanted to try new southern cooking. Hands down the food was amazing. Our waiter Wade was so knowledgeable of the food and drinks, I would recommend asking for him if you decide to try it out. We ordered the oysters, and steak tartare for an appetizer. For dinner we ordered petite steak, elk steak and for sides we over ordered with the creamed corn brulee, maple roasted sweet potatoes, loaded parlor potatoes, and the collard greens. It was so much food we ended up taking everything home and eating it for lunch the next day. We made reservations because we didn't know how long of a wait it would be. They called that afternoon to confirm and let us know about the valet parking.”

“We had an amazing dinner at Porch and Parlor tonight. The service is incredible, from the valet parking to the people who open the door for you, greet you, etc. Its an experience, not just a meal. Our server was Savannah F. I highly recommend requesting her. She was very attentive and came by to check on us regularly but not too much. I chose the Parlor surf and turf and my boyfriend ordered the tomahawk ribeye with a side of lobster macaroni and cheese. I also ordered a cocktail, but my boyfriend's "pineapple express" mocktail was even better. It was like a dessert in a glass. Our steaks were cooked perfectly as was the seafood. The portions are substantial, so be prepared to have leftovers. The restaurant is very warm and inviting. Yes, it's an expensive restaurant. But it's worth it. From the moment you step in the door, you feel welcome and comfortable, and the service, atmosphere and, of course, the food complete the experience. It's a perfect spot for any occasion. You won't be disappointed.”
