“We had never been here, but went to celebrate my wife's birthday. Our servers name was Adrian, I think. She went by Adi. The whole experience was awesome. Two of us had steaks, one chicken, one salmon. They gave my wife a slice of cake for her birthday, which was very nice The experience was so nice. My 9 year old son asked to come back for his birthday in August. It was very much worth the visit. We definitely recommend.”
“We had a wonderful meal at Peninsula Prime. The food, service and atmosphere were fantastic. Definitely a nice spot for a special occasion.”
“After an article touting their focus on autism friendly design, I peeked at the menu and chose this for our Mother's Day+1 family dinner - on Monday, after the crowds. The restaurant is gorgeous and our food was delicious! Our server Maddie gave us excellent, caring service. Robin (co-owner) stopped by our table and we swapped our family health experiences. I deeply appreciate that a restaurant would take such care to accommodate fidgety kids and anyone who gets overstimulated in public settings. I hope that more restaurants will follow their lead! We're already looking forward to our next visit.”
“We went out to celebrate all of our birthdays for the year and it was a great night! The decor inside is really elegant but still cozy. Everyone loved their drinks, the food and our server Julia was awesome. They even brought us out a birthday dessert!”
“Came in on a very busy night, we were 10 minutes early for our reservation but didn’t get seated till 5 after. Was only mildly annoyed at the delay but management approached our table directly and offered a free round of drinks! It was our first time at this location and we took advantage of their Queen City restaurant week menu to try a few different meals. For starters we got the calamari, which was amazing itself though my partner didn’t like the sauces, and an excellent Cesar salad. For entrees we got the salmon (with green beans and sweet potato) and the chicken piccata (Angel hair pasta and asparagus). The salmon was a bit dryer than I anticipated, and the meal overall a bit simple- wouldve benefitted from a gravy/sauce. The lemon piccata was delicious to me, overly lemony to my partner but had a slightly congealed texture. Regardless of these textural issues the meals were both delicious in flavor and well portioned. The carrot cake was outstanding!! we initially got one carrot cake and one red velvet but the red velvet tasted artificial and the server was more than helpful in swapping it for a second carrot cake. Overall the food wasn’t the best, but the ingredients were clearly of great quality. It may have just been the hectic night that hindered the end result. We will definitely be returning on a less popular night to try some more of their menu! The service was the shining gem of the establishment, our server (we forgot her name but she’s a gorgeous brunette with great eyebrows) was cool and collected through the busy night and frequently checked in on us. So did management. There was never a lapse in overwhelmingly welcoming service and we tipped over 20% to account for that. At the end of the night we left having had a great experience. Thank you! We’ll be back!”
