“First time dining here and absolutely won't be the last. Family owned and operated best kind of places to eat and this one did not disappoint. From hostess to boxing up leftovers everything was magnificent. If you are watching your wasteline don't look at the dessert tray. Its a trap lol. We ended up leaving with the shareable carrot cake. PHENOMENAL!!!”

“What a phenomenal restaurant hidden in downtown Crown Point. This is one of the beet steakhouse experiences I've ever had. This place will in no way wow you with decor, it is admittedly devoid of comfortable space and you will be sitting so close to someone you'll feel like they're at your table. Having said this, the food is so beyond excellent, I wouldn't even care if I had to eat it on the roof. First off, the oysters rockefeller were literally some of the best I've ever had. The oysters were exceptionally fresh, the spinach was tender and creamy and fabulously garlicky - simple but elegant. My wife had the rack of lamb for her entree. She ordered the lamb medium and it was cooked to absolute perfection. Great sear on the lamb and seasoned all the way to the bone. I had the 26oz ribeye. The level of skilled displayed on this steak was award worthy. It takes an emmence level of skill and precision to cook a steak that size perfectly medium rare and velvety soft as butter. Kudos to the chef. While the place is hard to navigate because of the disproportionate ratio of tables to space, I would happily deal with it regularly for food this level of quality. Fantastic find, we will be back.”

“Great dinner experience! Outstanding service. Been there several times and it is always top notch. This evening was no different. Wednesdays nights filets are on special and half price bottles of wine. Tonight we had the filet and potato bites appetizer. Have also had the crab legs and lobster in the past and always delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant!”

“I was very disappointed with my food and how the owner handled it. I have always loved the food but this visit I was not happy. I ordered sautéed perch it was overcooked I mentioned it to waitress she said would tell boss. So they said they would bring another plate out which I was happy they were going to fix problem well they only sent 2 pieces out which both were overcooked again. This time I asked to talk to owner she came over said she was sorry and that she is going to the perch off the menu because they are small. Doesn’t matter the size of the perch if they are small then they should know it would be less time to cook. She did offer something else but we had to leave because we were going somewhere else. My husband ordered a filet and it was also overcooked. For it being a fine steakhouse and the prices they charge I would have expected better food and for them sending the 2 pieces out was pathetic and if I was the owner I would have been embarrassed. The waitress was awesome and I did tell her it was not her fault. This is my first time ever experiencing an issue but for me I am so disappointed how the owner handled it.”

“I’ve always enjoyed Prime and have even left positive reviews before, so I was genuinely disappointed with my experience last night. We had a 7:30 pm reservation and were seated right away. The hostess was friendly, our server was attentive, and our food arrived promptly. Unfortunately, both steaks were chewy, lacked flavor, and didn’t come close to the good Steak ive had here in the past. The part that truly soured the evening was how the end of our meal was handled. While we were still eating dessert, the entire atmosphere shifted in a way that made it feel like they wanted us gone. They turned on all the bright overhead lights, instantly killing the ambiance. Staff began vacuuming around the dining area, creating noise that made it impossible to relax or enjoy the last part of our meal. The back door kept being opened and closed, and since we were seated near it, I was freezing. It felt less like we were finishing a nice dinner and more like we were in the way of closing procedures. What made it even more frustrating was that this all happened at 9:15 pm, even though the posted hours say they don’t close until 10. For a $300 dinner, being rushed out like that felt incredibly unprofessional and honestly a bit disrespectful. It completely overshadowed the rest of the evening.”
