“This was such an incredible vibe that we came twice! Their summer menu is light and refreshing. The service was excellent (bartender Camy in particular!). But the atmosphere made us come back. It’s definitely a picturesque location that I highly recommend!”

They're as professional, kind and helpful as any good restaurant I've been in. The atmosphere is lively and beautifully decorated. The food was amazing and delicious. “We made reservations for our last dinner in Edinburgh and chose the Ivy after a friend recommended it. We were warmly greeted when Susanna who led us to our beautiful corner table. We ordered some drinks and then ordered our food which consisted of smoked salmon as an appetizer and my wife had the chicken Kyiv with truffle mash, which was delicious and I had the 8 ounce sirloin with triple fried french fries and Bernaise sauce which was also delicious but was a bit on the tough side. For dessert, we share the chocolate bomb, which was really excellent and quite a spectacle to watch the dessert change after the hot caramel sauce was poured over the dessert. Our waitress Kaitlyn was excellent. She was friendly and professional at the same time and gave us service with a smile. Most likely the best service we’ve had in our whole stay in Edinburgh. Highly recommended.”

“I got a good experience eating at this restaurant, the decoration inside is very beautiful, the service is friendly and quite fast. For the food I ordered sirloin and ribeye steak. The meat quality is good and the truffle sauce is delicious. The hot chocolate is not the best I've ever tried, but it tastes good. For dessert I ordered chocolate bombe, it's delicious but I think the caramel is too much so it covers the taste of the vanilla ice cream”

“We booked to eat on a Thursday at 6.30 pm. We took advantage of the 1917 Two Course Heritage Menu costing £19.17, available from Monday to Friday. There is a good choice of starters and mains. A dessert is available for an extra cost. The service was top - notch! The food was excellent apart from the profiteroles. They were inedible - hard like cardboard. We were reimbursed the cost of all our desserts. I had a delicious creme brulee. Despite this, I wouldn't hesitate to eat there again.”
