“Union New American has been one of my favorite Tampa restaurants since it opened a few years ago, and we have continued returning ever since. The food is consistently delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor, with plenty of options for sharing and trying something new. The atmosphere feels stylish and lively while still being comfortable enough for everything from date nights to celebrations with friends. After several visits over the years, the experience continues to feel special, and I’m always excited to come back.”

“We stopped by Union on a Tuesday afternoon and had a great experience. We had reservations and even though the place was packed we were seated almost immediately. The ambiance was beautiful and had a really welcoming feel. Our server was excellent from the moment we sat down and made the whole experience even better. The hearth roasted oysters were outstanding and easily one of my favorite things we ordered. The steak was cooked perfectly and the drinks were excellent too. Everything came out at a nice pace and it was clear the kitchen takes pride in what they’re serving. The only minor issue was that our bread came out cold. We mentioned it and they had a warm loaf at the table almost immediately. Mistakes happen and what matters is how they’re handled. They took care of it without hesitation. Overall this was an excellent meal and somewhere I’d happily return. If you’ve been thinking about trying Union I’d definitely recommend giving it a visit.”

“I flew down to Tampa to visit my daughter and she suggested that we dine at Union New American. I am glad that we did! The food and the service were great!! We tried the beef crispy rice, parker house milk bread, caesar salad, skirt steak frites, japanese sweet potato, mac and cheese, and union cookies. From start to finish, we enjoyed each dish. I / we will certainly return to try more selections.”

“If I could rate above 5 stars I would. A great establishment starts at the top, and Stevo, the manager, is the heartbeat of this place. He runs Union with a level of grace and warmth that is hard to find. He made us feel like family from the very first greeting, and it’s clear his leadership style trickles down to every staff member. He operates the team with that same familial respect, creating a seamless, joyful energy that fills the entire room. Our server, Theo, provided some of the best service I have ever experienced. His attention to detail was impeccable; he anticipated our needs before we even realized them. Whether it was the timing of the courses or his deep knowledge of the menu. Then, there is the food. Chef Jared is a true master of his craft. Every dish that came out of the kitchen was masterfully designed and executed with precision. The balance of flavors and the quality of the ingredients were staggering. I can honestly say it was the best food I have ever had at a restaurant. If you are looking for a place where the staff cares as much about your experience as they do about the food on the plate, look no further than Union. We can’t wait to come back.”

“This place was definitely a 5-star experience! Theo was one of the best waiters we’ve ever had. He was personable, friendly, and attentive from start to finish. We told him we were visiting to celebrate an early birthday and attend the Ye concert, and he made sure everything was perfect the entire time. The rest of the staff was also welcoming and helpful, but Theo truly stood out. The food was a 10/10! Our favorite dessert was the blackberry cobbler, but we don’t have a picture because my daughter devoured it before I had the chance 😂.
