“Wow. Hands-down one of the best meals I’ve had in Seattle. Ramie is a perfect balance of sophistication, beauty, balance, and flavor. Every dish honors the Vietnamese cuisine in ways that are comforting and familiar, yet also elevated and unique. It’s truly an art! Some fan favorites from their menu tonight includes: - Scallop with salted egg yolk sauce - Betel leaf beef - Manila clams with milk toast Pro Tip: you MUST get dessert. Chef Trinh is one of the best pastry chefs in town, and you don’t want to miss any of her creations.”

“The best meal I’ve had in Seattle. Service was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They were very accommodating of gluten and dairy allergies and we were happy with our options and confident to eat. Meal was prepared, plated and served impeccably. We sampled an American A5 Wagyu that they had sourced and it was as good as advertised with rich marbling. The desserts were innovative and exciting. Cocktails were excellent as well. A great choice for a special occasion or just a good meal.”

“Really cute restaurant. The food is really tasty. I took 1 star away for a few reasons: 1. The wait time in between dishes is relatively long. We had a reservation at 6:45pm and we probably left at 8:45pm. The tasting menu itself has 4 courses but they are smaller portion so we finished them right away after they were served. Then it was almost just waiting. 2. The steak and fries dish is not balanced in terms of temperature. The steak is cold but the fries are hot. I wished the steak is also hot or at least warm. For the portion size it is a little bit pricy. It is really delicious though. But I do like the taste a lot and I will come back for the à la carte menu as I saw great reviews and larger portion size.”

“We went here for brunch. The food was okay…they have a unique and inventive spin on Vietnamese cuisine. However, the dishes seem to miss the mark. We got the Bo Ne with the New York strip, which was like a deconstructed Banh Mi. But the steak was super salty. The Shrimp Benedict was fine. Something about the fish cake and the beurre blanc sauce together was mushy, so for me, I didn’t like the texture. We however enjoyed the Banh Bao Chien, a crunchy, savory app! The coffee drinks were delightful! And the kouign-amann was one of the best we’ve had. So there were some hits and misses. The service started off great, however, the server disappeared on us mid-meal and was hard to get refills on water and any sort of service towards the end. That put a bitter taste in our mouths. So, not sure if we’ll be back”

“Overall had a mixed feeling after dining at Ramie. Atmosphere is good and pretty chill. Food wise, egg custard is good and recommended. So does the coffee rub pork ribs. However the eggplant is a little overpriced and just so so. The tomato based sauce doesn’t go well with the grilled rainbow trout and kinda trash the whole dish. Food service is really slow. Had to wait around 20-30mins after ordering to get the appetizer. And another 30-40mins for main dish to be served. The pandan green cocktail has a weird taste, more like a fail cough syrup. Maybe the other cocktails are good but I don’t know. Good thing is they don’t charge those ridiculous “surcharge” that has been going around in restaurants in Seattle.”
