“All the foods we ordered were very special and unique. We especially enjoyed the raw oysters so we ordered a second one. We also told them it was an anniversary celebration dinner when we made the reservation, but they didn't acknowledge such... the head chef Kenji was very friendly and appreciative we tried his restaurant for the 1st time. We will be back.”

“12/10! Omg everything's amazing! Crab noodle and the squid were a bit salty but still super tasty. I don't remember how many "OMG" I said in the restaurant. If u haven't been here, pls come it's absolutely amazing. Good thief is officially my favorite restaurant in Vancouver. I wanted to come because I heard the cocktails were amazing, but the food is incredible too. If u dig Vietnamese food, this place will be the goat!”

“We had a great experience overall. The only odd thing that happened was at the beginning when we put our name down on the waitlist. We were quoted roughly a 20 minute wait, but after about 40 minutes I noticed there were empty seats available. I went back in and asked another staff member, and we were seated right away. I never received a text or any update, so it was likely either a staff oversight or an issue with the waitlist application. The service was excellent! our server was kind, attentive, and regularly checked in on us throughout the meal without being intrusive. As for the food, we tried enough dishes to get a good sense of the menu, and I'd rate it a solid 4.5/5. A couple of dishes were pleasantly surprising and packed with flavor. They were quite rich, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but more of a treat we'd enjoy once in a while rather than crave regularly. The standout for us was definitely the potatoes. I believe they were prepared in three different ways, and each one was fantastic. The crab noodles are also a must try as the flavors were excellent. My only small complaint is that the portion felt a little small considering it was described as a shareable plate and given the price point. Other than that, everything was very good, and we'd happily return.”

“Dine out 2026 - full course. Overall it's worth the price, the saltiness of the dishes is on a heavy side for my preference. My recommendation: the Crab garlic noodles 🍜 We had the Frog legs 🦵🏻 too, fantastic flavor! 10/10 would order again. The Oyster is additional dish, with coconut sauce.”

“Great interior vibe, though the space is on the smaller side. I’d recommend making a reservation on weekends. They offer a variety of creative cocktails. I tried the Pho Dac Biet cocktail -- it had an interesting flavour, more savoury, tangy, and slightly sweet, but not really my preference for a cocktail drink. I liked my friend’s Hoi An Night cocktail more. The snacks are a bit pricey for the portion and quality. The beef tartare was good, and I loved the dipping sauce for the Pomme frites. The rest like the whelk salad and crab noodles were average. Service was attentive, but the tip options start at 20%, which feels higher than usual. As others have mentioned, expect to spend $70+ per person if you’re getting drinks and snacks. The menu is mostly small bites, with only a few mains (around three) and a couple of desserts.”
