“Saffron Mediterranean Kitchen is an absolute gem. Shout out to Island (co-owner) for getting us a table after meeting her at an earlier wine event — Thank you! The food is amazingly delicious—every dish is packed with flavor and clearly prepared with incredible attention to detail. The venue itself is second to none, offering a beautiful atmosphere that perfectly complements the dining experience. Owner/Chef Chris Ainsworth is exceptionally talented and his passion for great food shines through in every plate that leaves the kitchen. From the quality of the ingredients to the presentation and execution, everything is top-notch. I can’t recommend Saffron Mediterranean Kitchen highly enough. Outstanding food, outstanding service (shout out to The Amazing Amanda), and an outstanding overall experience. Easily one of the best restaurants I’ve visited. Highly recommended!”

“Delicious food, great cocktails, great service! I had the sturgeon fish, but there were other options that looked delicious too. My cocktail was very flavorful and dessert was wonderful. From the hostess to the server and everyone in between, we had great service. Definitely recommend for a date night or romantic dinner night out.”

Our most recent experience was for their Breakfast for Dinner menu. Dishes were stellar and service was top tier. If you are visiting Walla Walla this is a must-see.”

“Absolutely delightful experience experience. Service was outstanding, food was VERY authentic and clearly crafted with care. The decor is tasteful and stylish and yes, it has ambiance. The only thing that MIGHT detract for some (it was perfect for me) was portion size. For some it may be a problem, especially if you’re a big eater. Again perfect for me (and very traditional Mediterranean) but others may complain. Will go back again and again!”

“Saffron is a gift to us all with a few shortcomings. The oysters were surprisingly fresh for the region. The beef cheek appetizer with royal trumpet mushrooms was incredible. The PAELLA VALENCIANA was just mediocre with unfinished rice. The chicken was beautifully prepared, but we left the uncooked rice. The Gifford Hirlinger bordeaux blend was basic and overpriced. The people here are holding this place together. I just think it's time for some QA to ensure they continue to serve us well.”
