“Haven’t rated a restaurant 5/5 in a while but Shankeys definitely deserved it. The service was great, attentive quick and friendly. The food was exceptional, we ordered everything on the menu as it was 5 of us and have to say the lamb paratha, the chicken and the fish were the highlight. The dessert was too sweet and heavy, I would have served it with a sorbet as a opposed to a cream!”

“​The cheese cauliflower paratha and potatoes were definitely a highlight, they are a staple while the rest of the menu changes regularly. For mains, the whole sea bream was delicious. We tried a few of their cocktails and especially enjoyed their unique takes on the margarita (with butter) and Negroni. It's a great spot for a date, and the staff is very nice. I definitely plan on returning soon to try more of their parathas. It's also reasonably priced.”

“If you are a foodie, you have to eat here. At first we thought Irish and Indian was a bizarre combination but after eating there we now know it WERKS. We had a table of 4 people and ordered 1 or everything on the menu. The chicken was spiced perfectly and so flavourful. The white beans were addicting, and the eggplant was spicy but not so much that I couldn’t taste the flavour. The cocktails were also creative. Our only note is that the restaurant was pretty dark so it was difficult to see the presentation of the food with the naked eye. We received friendly service and overall we were extremely happy with our experience.”
