“I’ve been here multiple times with family, friends, and business associates. Everyone has enjoyed it, every time. I honestly don’t know if there is a more picturesque spot in the Bay Area. You are literally on the water, and most tables have a full view of the bay, from the San Rafael bridge to the Bay Bridge and everything in between including Alcatraz, Golden Gate, SF skyline, and marine life. And we haven’t even mentioned the food and service! I would recommend lunch or early dinner as it gets crowded quickly. Service is prompt depending on time, love the menu, and prices are very reasonable is considering the atmosphere, view, and quality. Today we had a lobster & shrimp sandwich and a French dip. Both were fantastic! The lobster bisque was a bit too creamy/sweet for my taste, but I’ve also had their chowder which is solid. And the bread they include with your meal is topped in garlic and butter - and it would easily cost $10 as a separate item at many restaurants. Easy to find and park, right on the west tip of the Berkeley marina, University Ave exit just off Highway 80. Highly recommend!”
“Ok, I have been to a lot of different restaurants, but this is by far my new favorite place!!! The wait staff and hostesses were fantastic. You cannot beat the location, looking out onto the water watching the sunset, the colors playing over the San Francisco skyline and Golden Gate Bridge. The food was exquisite, each dish presented to perfection. Even my daughter said it was the best plain cheeseburger she has ever tasted. I tried it - she is right. We can’t wait to go back!”
“Had an amazing three course meal during restaurant week! It seemed especially busy for a Tuesday night where we had to wait for about 20 minutes past our reservation time to be seated and the food came out rather slowly; however, the service was excellent the whole time. Very friendly, attentive, and intuitive staff. We were impressed that the seafood restaurant with views still managed to come with exceptional quality and reasonable prices. The sauces were on point. Definitely recommend and hope to come back soon!”
“Wanted to try a nice place for lunch and this popped on Google when searching for places in the area. Beautiful scenery from all of the windows when walking in. We had a window seat which was great Menu had a variety of items for everyone to choose from. Pasta dish with Shrimp very good, a little spicy from the red pepper flakes. Garlic bread very good Calamari very good Chicken with Couscous was not good. Chicken was dry and we sent back and tried again and second piece just as dry and flavorless Sirloin Steak-Good Cesar salad with Crab very good. FYI side of crab $15 Chicken sandwhch -Good”
“Location was great as it’s near the water. Im sure if it wasn’t raining the view would have been beautiful. Not sure if it was me but the floor was very slippers. I had to walk slowly not to slip. Food was okay, it was very tasty yet too salty for me. It didnt really stand to me. It was a normal meal. Service was great, the team was accommodating, attentive and prompt. Food never came too late.”
