“I recently dined at Sketches of Spain and it was fantastic. The ambiance feels like I walked into Spain, and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or attentive. We tried the Pulpo (Octopus), croquetas, and paellla, and every bite was bursting with authentic flavor. The paella had that perfect crust at the bottom, and the sangria was refreshing and full of fruit created by Oscar. It’s clear the chef (Ignacio) bring a piece of Spain to Dallas. I’ll definitely be back for more of their tapas and desserts (Flan)”

“Wonderful, friendly atmosphere & delicious food. The inky croquettes were by far my favorite dish—I’m glad they have half portions available so I could try so many different dishes. The waitress was also kind enough to make me a lemonade at the end of my meal even though it wasn’t on the menu! Amazing experience & I can’t wait to come back with friends.”

“Today we visited the best Spanish restaurant we’ve tried in Dallas! We are true lovers of authentic Spanish cuisine and have become more and more selective over time, but this restaurant exceeded all of our expectations. We had the opportunity to meet Chef Iñaki in person to congratulate him, and it was truly a pleasure to thank him directly. You can taste the passion and care in every single dish. Mario’s service was also 10/10 attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Everything was absolutely delicious. The gambas al ajillo were a true gem; the pulpo a la feira still makes our mouths water just thinking about it; The grilled octopus and the bocadillo of Iberico Ham were simply unforgettable. “Absolutely LOVE this place! I was surprised that there were very few people there on a Thursday night. We drive all the way from west Fort Worth to come here! The bread was sooooo fresh hot and soft, I would ask with butter. The spicy garlic shrimp was spicy so come prepared… The octopus was just delicious. I don’t know how they got it so tender… The black paella with squid and garlic, so amazing and the butter sauce that they bring with it, I put on the bread! We don’t drink so a fresh Mojito mocktail paired perfectly! With how amazing the food is and the fact that it’s not really expensive, you just have to try it. What are you gonna lose?”

“First time being here in the bishops arts district I’m from Houston Texas (big food service industry if u know u know) so I came in on a Saturday 6pm just right before dinner rush, sat at the bar no one was there besides a few tables in the main dining area (this place isn’t huge ) first started off great as soon as I sat at the bar ordered a glass of rioja red wine and 1 tapas (gambas al aljillo) 6 shrimp in a spicy sauce .. took a very long time to come out as it was a starter.. they offered me small bread bites like 2 but that’s beyond the point for a (paying customer) as soon as I sat down a large group looks like they were regulars because everyone was greeting them as if they know them, there food came out first all at once when all I ordered was one tapa…. LOL 🤣 the bartender with curly hair seemed to start ignoring me as soon as I began asking questions about my food, the manager also favored the larger party when they were not busy at all when I stumbled in! Disappointed with my first time visit do better for new time customers that you don’t know or make it a private VENUE!”
