In 1975, Ste. Chapelle brought new luster to Idaho winemaking, with a commitment to fine winemaking using grapes planted among the sweeping orchards of southwestern Idaho in the Snake River Valley AVA. It has grown to become the largest winery in Idaho and a hometown favorite!

“This place is awesome! My wife and I visited Ste Chapelle with my parents in October 2023 and this hidden gem is an amazing experience. My father and another guy built most of the main building there as part of Madden Construction in the early 80's (see metal plaque near entrance). Such a cool location and venue! Great wines too!”

“Had a couple flights here and they were tasty. Someone in our party got a red flight and said all were delicious. And I got the sparkling flight and everyone tried the huckleberry wine -- it left a weird after taste. Nobody liked that one but that was the only one we didn't care for. All in all not bad!
The service was okay. The views were pretty for a Sunday winter afternoon”

“This is the oldest winery in the treasure valley and their wide array of beers make it our stop when ever we go there. They have small bites to eat and it is all good. The view down the second fool is a stunning view of the hills and grape vines. I have not done a review recently so we won’t right after they opened Friday. I wanted to get pics of the inside before guest started showing up. The wine was so very delicious. Thank you for your service.”
