“Had the Campfire Crepe. 100/10!!! Out of this world. Was great! They asked if anyone was allergic to anything for cross contamination purposes which I thought was very nice! P.S. open a satellite restaurant in Pryor, OK! That just serves Crepes!”
“The Artisan is THE BEST fine dining spot in Durant & surrounds. We’ve been 3 times and never been disappointed. We went for our anniversary and they had scattered rose petals on our (reserved) table. Aww. My filet & husband’s ribeye were perfect. Hubby’s scotch was served over a single spherical ice “cube” as big as the glass. Cute eye candy. Speaking of which, the candied Brussels sprouts are not to be missed. Order them, even if you think you don’t like Brussels sprouts. These are not those nasty boiled things your mom made you eat. OMG. So good. Sunday Brunch is also fantastic, esp. the mushroom crepe, with prices barely higher than other breakfast spots. Go. You won’t be disappointed.”
“We dined before a concert & we came from Ft Worth. It was really good. The staff was very tentative. Abby was very helpful our server. The crab cakes weren’t what I expected, our drinks were excellent and the rest of our dinner was good. We got the table side caramelized apples. Really neat to watch and the young lady was very sweet.”
“This was such a great experience! Even more wonderful was that almost everything on the menu that night was gluten free. That's normally a hardship, but at The Artisan it was a blessing. ❤️ Thank you for a wonderful Valentine Dinner with my sweet hubby.”
“My recent visit to this Durant restaurant left me with mixed impressions. The space itself is clean with a nice bright atmosphere and the overall ambiance is pleasant especially in a town where elevated dining options are limited. Service, however, missed the mark. Our server seemed new, which I truly hope was the case, because despite the restaurant being slow, drink refills were difficult to get and our food took far too long to arrive. By the time our meals made it to the table, it was clear they had been sitting in the window unattended. The chicken on my plate was hot, waffle cool, and the egg plate had already cooled completely. The bright spot of the meal was the fried okra—served hot, crispy, and easily the best-prepared item we tasted. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn’t match that quality. For the price, the value simply wasn’t there. While the restaurant offers a nicer atmosphere than most local options, the service and food execution need improvement. I will say the employees do have a positive energy which is pleasant and refreshing. I only visited once and some of the other reviews show a positive reflection so this is why I am considering I may have come in on an off day for the restaurant.”
